Can we PLEASE change the name of this topic?

To like... "The sinking ship of Nintendo's Home Consoles?"

Face it, Nintendo has portable gaming in it's pocket, and they know how to do portable gaming right. I've had a BLAST with ever DS game I have ever picked up, from Pokemon and Zelda (First party games) to BlazBlue (3DS) and 9 Persons, 9 Hours, 9 Doors (Third Party) The touch screen may not get USED much...

But that in no way changes the fact that... The DS was HUGELY superior to any portable game system on the market. (*coughPSPcough*)

And when you think of ALL the things Nintendo squeezes onto those fast loading cartridges, rather than say... The PSP's 3 hour loading screen UMDs, it's kind of amazing.

So please, change the topics name. For all of you out there who dislike the 3DS, pick one up, turn off the 3D if you're gonna complain, and play some of the games out for it. Rayman 3D, BlazBlue Continuum Shift II, or even nintendogs. (Admit it, you had a blast with it when the DS came out.)

Um, yeah, about UMDs taking 3 hours to load....I don't know what games you're talking about, but I never had to wait more than a half a minute (probably less than that) for Final Fantasy Tactics or Wild Arms XF to load to the next screen, at least while my PSP was working.  The fact that my PSP isn't reading the discs now is more because I got it second-hand from a friend than the PSP having bad technology.

Of course, it might not be that the PSP is old; it could be that my house is cursed.  I swear, technology dies in that house.

Technology is cursed in my house too. We get cheapo crap.  :-\

But I personally am fond of the DSi XL I got...even though I only have too games for it. I'm hoping to get the DS release of Chrono Trigger sometime soon.
