Mortal Kombat it was at it's best a looooooooooong time ago.  The recent games have been ok.  so I'm really neutral. ::)

I like the new ones, because of the graphics, did anyone see the movies, they're working on number 3 right now, I think its coming out next year.

The movies are among others to fall into the video game/movie trap.  Rule of thumb that I think seems to apply in general.

Mortal Kombat 1-4 were good, 5(Deadly Alliance) started the downfall and in my opinion I didn't like the most recent one(Shaolin Monks) you only had two characters in the beginning and they told you the fatalities! I loved guessing!

FF=Boring, had nothing to do with any of the games

FFVII:AC=Best movie ever, exciting, builds on the story of FFVII two years later, sweet fight with cloud v. sephiroth, sweetest version of omnislash i've seen in my life
