OoT Link -> TWW Link?

I'm writing a new mystery/theory article on a familial connection between the Link of Ocarina of Time and the Link of The Wind Waker. If you don't mind, I'd like some opinions on whether you think there is/isn't a relation between the two and why.

Pickles

I don't think that there's a relation between the two because after OoT, Link was stuck in Termina, right? So even if Link married and had kids, they'd all be in Termina. What I mean is, that the great flood happened in Hyrule, and the survivors of that flood were on the mountian tops of Hyrule, So I think that OoT Link has no connection with WW Link. (Just WW Link's parents just so happened to name him Link, and when he reached adult-hood, he just so happened to pull the Master Sword and slay Ganon!!) But that's just my say. I might be wrong.

Master Dragmire

There is no direct proff that Link was trapped in Termina....

Well, he fell into a giaganticly long and deep hole that I truly doubt he could climb back out of. So I figure he was trapped inside Termina.

he's LINK he can do n e thing......perhaps he can fall back down through it....

You mean fall back to Hyrule? I highly doubt it.

Evilslayer

Link isn't trapped in MM. He returns to Hyrule at the end. Besides, Link's FAMILY shield in TWW was wielded by the Hero of Time, the King refers to him as 'the' Hero, Ganon refers to him as the 'Hero of Time reborn', and Outset Island is the only island with that certain tradition.

How I know that? Because it says, quite clearly, on a certain island in the prologue.

jarod the dark mag

how can link return to hyrule if there is because the only road to get to termina is falling in the abyss in the lost woods. How can link even with his horse get to the lost woods at the end of majora's mask

How is not important? The fact is that he DO return! They show it at the end of MM, and if Nintendo says he return he do return.

Besides, we do not know if it's the only way back.

Pea-Tear Griffin

link in WW is his Heir they said that in WW

its a slim chance, but think about it. the hero of time held the tri-force of courage. and somehow so does the hero of wind! and it is possible that the hero of times mother had had another son, or that the hero of times dad had a brother whos wife had a son, and so on and so fourth. there is a strong possibility that the two have some sort of blood connection! im sure barry will dismiss these theorys but i dont mind, i made my point clear. ;D

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Pea-Tear Griffin

that could b true but don't forget the gods chose who/what gets a part of the Triforce
Go n-ithe an cat thú is go n-ithe an diabhal an cat

Zelda Veteran

yea thats true. still i dont think they would give it to just some random person. they would choose someone with potential.
