Well i was just thinking about what i would like in the next zelda game that there going to make .Well in OoT they did night and day but no weather changing so i was thinking it would be nice if nintendo would put weather in the zelda games and also .......... well i've ran out of ideas so what would you like to see in the next zelda game

Gamefreak

This should probably be moved to the Zelda board.

darkphantomime

I believe they already did weather  effects   (to a somewhat limited degree) with Oracle of Seasons... and we also had some bouts of rain in all of the 3-d titles, sometimes random, sometimes controlled.

Probably the thing they should do next  is create dream or hallucinatory sequences, somewhat akin to Sanity's Requiem. It'd be a bit freaky though, but it; would do a lot to affect the atmosphere in game.

LadyNintendo

hmm, neah. I respect Silicon Knights for that idea. I think anyone else doing, would feel as a huge rip-off. I like the dreamthings that have already appeared in TLOZ-games (That dreammachine in TMC and LA completely), but it shouldn't be much different from that.

And the weather already did change in TWW.

I would like the GOOD past zelda games like OoT, to beremade with TP grapics, It would only take a year or  two, they would'nt speand alot of time pondering over mistakes, the storylines already there. :P

And again, I disagree. I have something against remakes. I don't mind ports or ports deluxe, but most remakes only annoy me. OOT has gotten MORE than enough attention and it will be available for everyone till the end of times. I think there's not one TLOZ-game that deserves less attention than OOT. TLOZ franchise is not OOT.

My problem with remakes is that they place a game back in the spotlights which had more than enough attention and is being loved "despite" outdated graphics (imo, if you care about graphics beyond the point of things being recognizable, you are very shallow). If any game deserves a remake, it's a game that wasn't what it was supposed to be or never got the attention it deserved.

Evilslayer

I'd actually like to see a 3D remake of LoZ, and the in-game artwork should be based on the official artwork. And AoL, I think, falls under the category of underrated games, so I think a 3D remake of that game could be justified.

I have two ideas for how that could be done. The first is kind of like a mix between SCII, SSBM and ToS. When you travel the Overworld (or a town) it somewhat resembles ToS.

Then, when you enter a dungeon/Overworld battle, it becomes more like the dungeon stage on Adventure Mode in SSBM. And boss battles could be like SCII.

The other idea, which is my favourite by far, is a real-time 3D remake. There's no EXP Points or stats. The dungeons are your average puzzle-filled Zelda dungeons. Like with my idea of a 3D remake of LoZ, the in-game artwork should be based on the official artwork.

Link should start in Impa's cottage, waking from a strange dream. Link discovers the Triforce mark on his left hand, and then you, as the player, have to talk to Impa.

There's a short cut-scene, and then you follow after Impa to North Castle (which you can fully explore). Once you reach the 'door that cannot be opened', there's another cut-scene where you see the Sleeping Princess, Impa tells you the legend of the Sleeping Princess (flashback time!), and Link reads the scroll she gives him.

Then you start your journey to bring the six crystals to the palaces, to eventually break the barrier protecting the Great Temple.

first off, I would just like to say that windwaker had weather. and my idea...what about doing a crossover king of effect, like with the oracle series?I enjoyed the parallel storylines...It would also be nice if they included like a house for Link.I mean one that you can use besides to keep a cow that defied the laws of physics to get up there. I think it's about time they came up with new ideas for shields as well.

I would actually like to go through Links various stages to adulthood. And I also like your idea, Jackal.

yey it would be better if you can see link growing up becuse days and days pass by and link does'nt get a day older whitch bugs me

LadyNintendo

Yeah, when you're on an adventure for, say, 2 months, maybe 3, you should really age a lot. ::)

I think they should have a bladder bar underneath the magic bar. You go for over a year playing sometimes, and he never once goes to the bathroom...never eats either. Not saying it should be necessary, just a little fun feature they could add, and you get benefits if he is in good condition, snd his abilities grow as he gets older. Just make it a bit more realistic. He could also act different with a full bladder, like he start dancing or shaking his legs when he stands still, or his stomach growls when he gets hungry.

yey your right i would like link to be like a real person bye goping to bed and having a drink and feeding his horse because he has never fed epona

Hi no Seijin

I would like to see Link use a scythe instead of a sword.  And at some point in the game, you could attach an element to it, like fire or ice.  At another point in the game, you can increase the power of this elemental damage.  You can also add a bane or two.  For example, I would add a bane to undead creatures, and that bane would let me to extra damage to anything that's undead.  And you would have to pay a lot of rupees to get all of this applied to your scythe for two reasons.  One, it would take a master smith to apply the elemental and/or bane.  Two, it's really easy to get a lot of rupees in the game, and most everything in the game is cheap, and spending some rupees on something expensive but worth it would be nice.  However, the addition of an elemental power and a bane is optional, but it would be freaking sweat to have, and could make the game a little bit easier.
