FS/LttP Multiplayer

Hello all. I just picked up a used SP and LttP/FS. I don't have link cables, or know anyone with the game for that matter, and so an interesting conundrum has befallen me... Can I play FS without other players? I ask as I tried and it searched for other units, though I gave up after about 20 seconds. I'm somewhat impatient, oh well.  

Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

A slight overlook on Nintendo's part.  They fixed it for FSA.  By the way, I wouldn't offer that as a party game, like my sister's school did.

Either you are confusing Four Swords with Four Swords Adventures or you have been deceived.  FS is multi-player only.  You need at least one other to person to play the game with.

Only one? I thought that you have to be 4 players.

You don't necessarily need all four people to play.  The game will adapt to either two or three players.  But I'd imagine that having all four Links would be easier than only having two Links.

Because FSA was designed so that only one person can play it.  FS wasn't.

thats not fair and thats just saying that FSA is a newer version same game but kind of different
