i think Wind Waker is bigger then Twilight Princess

Hi no Seijin

I think this is more for the General Zelda board, and that someone already created a topic similar to this in said board.

Tp is bigger, but in a different kind of way I believe.
The rising sun will eventually set,
a newborns life will fade.
From sun to moon, moon to sun...
Give peaceful rest to the living dead...

Twilight Princess is bigger than Wind Waker.

TP is a huge world in itself, but then throw in the dungeons.  They're quite a bit bigger and deeper than WW.

And I think this topic fits in WW.  Its about WW.  Its just a comparison between the two.  Don't let bored people who want to sound smart get to you.

DW

Wind Waker is bigger in terms of size....MUCH bigger...many more islands...I actually consider it better than TP in a lot of ways...Now if you're talking about the economic impact, TP was much bigger, a much greater seller.

Euphoria

Umm.....Nope.  TP is bigger in size aspect.  Just because Wind Waker had more islands doesn't change the overall size of the land.    Duh.

Yeah, the fact that the world was bigger in TWW than in TP doesn't actually mean it was, Shika.

Duh.

That was quite rude.

Duh.

But that just broke my heart. Warning for Commodore!

WW's world was indeed bigger than TP's, it was simply easier and faster to cross because you were moving so much faster on the boat than Link could run.

oh god man i take it back

But seriously, it takes a hell of a lot longer to get from one side of the map to the other in TWW than it does in TP. And that boat seems to go a lot faster than Epona. TWW's overworld is huge.

Rude?  Get over it Shika.  Grow a pair.

[Please don't insult people with that kind of vulgarity. One warning.]

DW

...Well, I think that's warnable...

You shouldn't talk to anyone like that, really. Please respect others.

Then you have to take into account the dungeons and caverns, TWW is pretty darn big...If they tried to run that on TP graphics it'd probably make the system explode...

Well, you've lost my respect. This is supposed to be a friendly debate, not a battle. I usually use the term: "Oh, dude, grow a chest hair." which isn't vulgar, and gets my point across.

Moving on, I think Twilight Princess was much bigger. Although The Wind Waker has much more area to travel over, 70% of it was just water(which don't get me wrong was fun to explore), and Twilight Princess has one huge landmass. I wish Twilight Princess would have had more Side-Quests, and the same can be said for the Wind Waker. The Wind Waker had all in all, 8 Bosses:
Gohma
Kalle Demos
Gohdan
Helmaroc King
Jalhalla
Molgera
Puppet Ganon
Ganondorf

Twilight Princess had 11 bosses
Diababa
Fyrus
Morpheel
Stallord
Blizzetta
Armagohma
Argorok
Zant
Zelda: Ganon's Puppet
Ganondorf Dark Beast
Ganondorf

Not to mention collecting all the poe souls, which I still haven't completed. I haven't collected all the bugs yet either. This also doesn't even cover all of the extra things they added, like Fishing, the Bomb Arrow Game, Finding all of those bugs to unlock the areas, etc etc etc.

Twilight Princess was all around, much bigger than WW. It took me maybe a few days to completely beat The Wind Waker on my first time around. It took me two or three weeks to beat just the main story on Twilight Princess. Yes, I'm slow, remember ZV's 4th commandment.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Way to ruin the game for me.  I might as well not even play it anymore.

Seriously, though, bigger is such a vague word.  Bigger land, bigger content, bigger chest hairs, what does bigger refer to?

I personally believe that TP was bigger just on the overall scale of everything, but seeing as how we don't have a defining characteristic for bigger, I can't really back that up.  :P
