Guess what FUNimation animations is doing?

As alot of you might know, recently FUNimation animations (an animation company in America) has bought the rights over producing One Piece in America. A very good thing about that is that 4KIDS will no longer produce One Piece, EVER.  ;D

There's also more news. FUNimation will one day release an uncut and unsensored version of the original Japanese One Piece, although I'm not sure about language. Exactly. Not only with 4KIDS no longer have One Piece, but now a completely unsensored and uncut version of the original Japanese version. Finally, the "hell of anime" (4KIDS One Piece) has been frozen over.

Definately good news! I'm glad to hear that One Piece is out of their grip. And I only read the manga anyways, so its not so huge to me :P

I only read the manga, too. Techniqually I watch the anime, but only because I'm waiting for Futurama and Bleach to get on and I never pay attention to it. One Piece is actualy a good series, despite how 4KIDS made it look like the "hell of anime".

In some points blood was actually significant to the plot, too. They had to edit it out, though.

One Piece is actually a very good series and (sometimes) has very good characters (Rob Lucci, for example).

GAH! onepiece with 4kids or not is a horrible anime, the main character is nothing more than a swashbuckling version of Mr. Fantastic, that and there is a pirate that harnesses the power of tranvestites, and that is all you need to ruin an anime, go watch fullmetal alchemist or bleach if you want a good anime
