Naruto the movie 4/Shippuden movie will be premiering August 4th 2007. The main thing people are freaking out about, is that Naruto dies. There was also this small peview
For some of you, this may be old news, but I had to post that preview. Sakura's scream made my skin crawl :-[
There are about eight figures who killed Naruto. Sakura, Chouji, Neji, Lee, Shikamaru, Tsunade, and Shizune are seen standing at a grave with a headband around it.

The main character can never stay dead for too long.  They'll find some deus ex machina to revive him.

And its the movie, it isn't cannon anyway so even if he's still dead that is just for show.

Now I really don't know the workings of Naruto canon, but why wouldn't the movie be canon?

Well, if they showed him dieing in the preview, they have to bring him back, or do something! They can't give away the ending in the preview ::)

Only the manga is complete canon. Filler episodes are kinda canon, because they are based upon the manga. The movies aren't and have no real role in the series, they're just ways to get customers.

Hmm I'm still in the middle of the 1st movie, but I think that since this is one is Shippuden he shouldn't die. I was sick of him before but Shippuden made it seem a lot better.

Heh, Sakura's scream was really creepy after all....
