I have just seen a lot of TP trailers on youtube and there is a lot of stuff I think they should have put in.  I think they should have put the deep forest in, the Moblin look-alike from WW, that tall lanky green/black monster, the hog army, the dead trees in Eldin Field.  What do you guys think they should have put in?

Fishalicious

Miniblins.

And... Wizzrobes. I miss those a lot.

I really liked the WW style Moblin, it was neat. They should've kept the colourful, beautiful Kargarocs from WW, too. Not those ugly dragon-bird... things.

Zoratunic

They should have put in magic varieties of arrows, and I know they could have made the wolf form better.

Knil

the magic arrows is one thing i miss too

Twilight Wolf

I like the wolf form just as it is, really... although I would have liked the ability to howl wherever you wanted, and not just when you come across a howling stone or a patch of special grass. Other than that, though, I'm pretty happy with the game, although I do wish it lasted longer...
What, you expect me to say something witty?

LadyNintendo

I wish the wolf was a little faster, or that you got the Horse Call earlier (instead of right at the moment you don't need it anymore), or that there was more possibility to use the Spinner. Otherwise, I hate how long the twilight-transportation animation lasts, not to mention having to change back, wish gets annoying.

Anyway, I really miss the miniblins. Entering the Wind castle/temple truly made me aware of that. I hope Nintendo will put a Miniblin village in the game once, something in the style of the LightFoot Village in Starfox Adventures.

Knil

Is there anything from the edited versions of TP?

Why should they put two of the most annoying enemies ever concieved in TP? By the way Ladynintendo, I don't think miniblins are intelligent enough to build something like lightfoot village.
I agree with you on kargarocs (the awsome twilit 'rocs do make up for it though). Anyway, I think the should have kept the bulblin army fight they showed in the trialer.
I think they also should have made the arrow interface eiser. They should have kept WWs system so you could cycle from normal to bomb to scope without having to puase the game. Also I don't like how the only way I can use the scope is by sacrificing the extra punch I get with the bomb arrows.
Also I found the magic armor was even more useless than WWs, which I didn't even think was possible.

LadyNintendo

Oh where to begin? First off, Miniblins aren't annoying in my opinion. That you don't like them, fine! But others do like them and we want to see them back. Even apart from that, what do you mean with "annoying"? Because I have yet to see an enemy in a game whose annoyingness isn't directly linked to making the game they appear in a bit of a challenge even when you AREN'T fighting a boss or sub-boss. Isn't that what a game is supposed to be; a challenge?

And what makes you think they aren't intelligent enough? They use (more developed) weapons, which is some indication. Also, they are of the "goblin" species, which is intelligent in all three other instances.

Knil

Not to take anyone's side, but I thought the Miniblins were annoying, but cute, the WW Navi.

To get back on topic, is there anything from the old versions of TWILIGHT PRINCESS that anyone misses.  You can have things that you miss from other games, but have at least one thing from TP

LadyNintendo

Ah, I was already wondering whether you were specifically talking about Beta TP.

It's not something I really miss, as the replacement was far better. However, I hope they will one day revive the black-grey-white idea that was originally going to be the Twilight Realm. I absolutely love the more orange coloured TR, but the early black-grey-white world had a certain charm that I'd hate to see gone for good.

MagmarFire

I think it would be cool to be chased by that Gohma like in that one trailer. That'd be a battle that I would like to try out for its uniqueness.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Having the enemie shout "Da nant" at the top of it lungs over and over and over does not count as "making the game more chalenging". All it does is make me want to turn down the volume. While some eniemies who have annoying characteristics (ie. WW Poes, WW purple chuchus, those clam things that are in pretty much every water dungeon, ect.) do make it more chalenging, miniblins "da nant" thing doesn't.

I remember seeing a monster on youtube (done through modding) that was basically a bunch of gorons piled on top of eacher to for a large person thing. Maybe it was saposed to be Goron mines miniboss before they came up with that one armored on (can't remember name). It would be cool either way.

Knil

Is it Beta TP?  I was wondering because beta is Greek for "B" and I didn't want to sound like an idiot by saying "Beta TP".

darkphantomime

'Beta' is a term in computer science used for the early stages of development of a program, where the program is usable, but an early stage where things are still being fine-tuned. Beta footage is basically conceptional stuff that is put in the game at early stages, but which may or may not appear in the final product. I've seen tons of videos of Beta Ocarina of Time, where it played off a modified version of the Super Mario 64 engine.

TP is the same way, as they were doing all kinds of things to experiment with atmosphere, boss fights, enemies, and just about everything. The 'experimental stage' if you will.
