Temple of Time

Okay this has been bothering me for a while and has brought many questions.

Okay in TP the area that the Master Sword is located in, in the sacred grove, surrounding it appears to be the ruins of the Temple of Time.  Which brings me to my questions.
1. Why do you no longer need the Ocarina of Time to enter the temple?
2. In LOZ:OoT the Temple of Time is in Hyrule Castle Town.  Does this mean that Ordon is the preveous location of Hyrule Castle?
3. How does the temple gain like 4 or 5 stories to it and how does it become filled with monsters?
4. What happened to the Door of Time and the three pendants and the Ocarina of Time needed to open it?

These questions are exactly why I don't think it's the same temple.

And how does it get filled with monsters? Doesn't this imply that Zant (or Ganondorf) can travel back in time or something, and if so, why didn't they use this to their advantage? God damn, the plot holes in this game are really ridiculous. :-*

You are warped there, so you're already in the Master Sword chamber.

2. In LOZ:OoT the Temple of Time is in Hyrule Castle Town.  Does this mean that Ordon is the preveous location of Hyrule Castle?

No. You are warped back in time.

3. How does the temple gain like 4 or 5 stories to it and how does it become filled with monsters?

Maybe it's because Link already has the Master Sword, so a new path was opened, or maybe he didn't use the Spiritual stones/Ocarina of Time.

4. What happened to the Door of Time and the three pendants and the Ocarina of Time needed to open it?

He was warped to the master Sword chamber, and the stones were sealed off.

Did I answer your questions?

Those don't really work. You're never "warped" to the chamber of the Master Sword and that's it, you can walk around the entire temple. Also, traveling through time doesn't change something's location.

BaconWarrior

This is true, you have to solve that puzzle where you move those two guys around.

Also, warped back in time doesnt make much sense the ruins are there before you even get to the cahmber housing the master sword, and instead of using the pendants and the ocarina of time to enter you have to solve the puzzle I mentioned earlier.

You kind of need to unlock the door that takes you back in time for you to use it, Commodore. To do that (assuming that there's only one way in), you'd need to play (or howl--take your pick) Zelda's Lullaby, and no one outside the Royal Family would just TEACH it to people.

EDIT: Sorry, Commodore. I also didn't read the rest of the post that I was supposed to quote. Sorry. ???

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Wait, what if the forest temple was transformed into the new temple of time?

MagmarFire

That's a possibility. Though I doubt that there would be a huge change in scenery and archetecture if that were the case... But since this is Zelda...well, you never know.

Right, Zelda is kinda........confusing.  But I doubt that the forest temple became the new temple of time seeing as it was in the lost woods.  And if it was then what would have happened to the old temple of time?

Maybe the godesses or maybe the Hylians destroyed the old temple of time and created a new one in a more secret and discreet place so that ganon and all other evil would have more trouble finding the master sword and the sacred realm and the triforce.

MagmarFire

That's also a possibility. After all, Ganondorf had the advantage of being able to get to the original Temple of Time quickly, whereas if it were somewhere in the woods, he probably would've had a harder time getting there.

I'm not exactly sure what you're responding to here. ;)

Anyway, why would they bother constructing a new Temple with a new entrance to the Sacred Realm? The Triforce is already split, so there wouldn't really be any need.

BaconWarrior

But ganon could still reach the master sword.  Although he probably couldnt wield or even draw it from the pedastal.

Commodore Axilon

But do they really need to construct an entire temple if all they're doing is moving the Master Sword? Seems to me they'd try and move it to a more inconspicuous location than an eight story temple if they're trying to hide it from the forces of evil.

BaconWarrior

Maybe they were trying to hide the fused shadows and the mirror.

Commodore Axilon

I'm pretty sure the Mirror of Twilight was always at the Arbiter's Grounds until Zant broke it.
