Which is better 2d or 3d Zelda.

Personnaly I like 3d Zelda better, I rather be able to move around and ride a hoarse and stuff.

Hi no Seijin

On the one hand, you have MM.  On the other hand, you have the Tarm Ruins.  Either way, you forgot the comedy option.  For shame.
Best.  Cane.  EVER!
Secretary of Lolcats; I won the MagmarFire Award for 2/21/08!

The 3D. Its much eisier to feel connected to a world if the world isn't a bunch of sprites and pixles.

I'm not sure.

LttP and TP are a equal in my mind, for different things. :( Too hard to choose, I like the realism of 3D, but the atmosphere of 2D...

You have a point, I like TP OoC better than LttP but then I still like the old 2D Zelda its hard to choose. :-X

Vaati

Definately 3D Zelda. Definately, definately!

DW

2D, nostalgia is a beautiful thing. Plus it allows for a lot of puzzles you couldn't do in 3D as it would break the laws of physics. I also like seeing things that you're not looking in the direction of.

Yeah but you cant block sword or melee attacks with your shield in 2D only arrows.

2D:
Puzzles, nostalgia, top-down
3D:
Cool battle system, more realistic

2D is winning.

Zelda Veteran

Honestly, if I were given the choice, I would play 3D zelda games instead. It really brings Hyrule and its places to life in a way that a 2D game never could, and never will. I like the old games, but the new games have some amazing stuff packed into them. Like the fight with that dragon in TP: Magnificent.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Depends on if you like combat or the puzzles better, personnaly I kinda dislike the puzzles... ::)

Fishalicious

And I love puzzles, particularly difficult ones, over combat... Anyway, I would say that I love 2D more... but I'm in love with art, and 2D games aren't... as visually or aesthetically pleasing.

I'm all for destroying laws of physics, though, so 2D it is.

Bboy94

Ok, after plugging in my SNES, and playing LttP, nostalgia overwhelmed me, and I choose 2D.
