Should I go?

Nah, you're right. Make up a reason not to go.

Okay, so my ex asked me to go to the Valentines day Dance with her at her school. Half of me wants to go, and the other half of me wants to chill at home.

REASONING:

The Good Stuff
- I get to be with her
- I could quite possibly show her that the passion is still alive inside me
- It'd be a lot of fun

The Bad Stuff
- I have quite a few enemies from her school(un-finished business and whatnot), and if they show up, there'll be a Valentines Day rumble.
- I've never actually danced before at a school dance.
- I recently got my hair cut, it looks bad, and I don't want her to see me like this XP

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Commodore Axilon

You should totally go.

REASONING:

  • She obviously has the hots for you.
  • Seriously.
  • Why else would she ask you?
  • You might get lucky, man.
  • You never know.
  • VALENTINE'S DAY RUMBLE

Hmm...it is going to be a dark dance. In other words: will it be like one of those dances where its a gym and the lights are turned off excepted for a few dull ones? Maybe you can try to avoid those people you don't like. And don't know if this is a formal dance or whatever, (it probably is) maybe you can wear a hat. I always do that when I have a bad hair day...or rather, a bad hair 2 months. :-*

We're having a dance kinda like that at my school. It's called the Turnabout or something. But the thing I don't like is that only girls can ask boys and it can't be vice versa. There's no one at school I really like, but something makes me want to go with someone. I mean, maybe if someone asked me and I thought they were pretty decent, even though I didn't have a crush on them I might go. You don't need to go with anyone, but I know that with it's Valentine's Day theme, I'll probably be the only loner there and I'll go home right away feeling sick (in a depressed way) like at Homecoming. :( Because no one really wants to talk to me when they've got their dates. Maybe I'll just go over to my friend's house and we can watch movies and crud. It's kinda a tradition when there's a "date-dance" going on and we're really mad.

Anyway, you can try a disguise. I'm not saying wear a wig and a fake mustach, but change yourself a bit.

DW

...ZV, why are you trying to win her back after...Whatever....

Anyways, I've got ten rejections to our winter formal so far. On the bus home today, I was talking to one of my friends about it, and she said that she 'wanted to go, but none of her friends wanted to, and she didn't want to go alone.' So I said "Well, I've been looking for someone to go with, and you don't want to go alone, so--" And then she just cut me off with a loud no. Said she didn't like me as more of a friend, and no matter how many times I said we would just be going as friends she said it would be too awkward. I dunno.

Know what I'd love to do? I'd love to just watch them squirm in all these so-called 'awkward moments'. I mean, they're all unstable and stuff about this, but in reality, they're just cowards. I say DEMAND that you do it, say that NOTHING will be awkward and point out her hypocrisy!

If I were you, I'd slap her hard making the point that "She is YOUR woman NOW!" Girls tend to like guys that stand up for themselves lots... Especially when you make a smart comeback after they reject you.

WE MUST WIN THIS WAR TOGETHER, MY BROTHERS!

PS - How long has ZV been talking about this girl being her 'ex'? When all he does is say stuff like they're actually together? It's one or the other, not both honey.

She's done all this crap to you, ZV, why do you still...I dunno.

And JQ, I've seriously considered being a jerk. They seem to like that. Although I don't quite like her more than a friend, I suppose being rough may still hold some sway over her emotions. :-\

And I'm fully aware that 'it would be awkward' means that I disgust them.

Screw that feeling of awkwardness! BE A MAN! People find me awkward all the time because I'm so different from everyone else in terms of how I see the world. And you know what? I'm sick of taking that crap and I'm going to do something about their impulsive reach for awkward implications!

They seem to always think of it being awkward as a way to simply avoid it.

DW

It's not awkward to me, but I can't force her to go. Besides, it's not like there's NOONE else to ask...

...

...

God, I'm screwed. :-[

This what I'm going to say about the Bad Stuff...
1. Who said the guys you have unfinished business will be there.
2.Whocares if you can't dance, try and have fun
3.So what if your hair looks bad, if she loves you, she won't care.

Theres what I say! :D

...You do not know girls, JQ.  ;D

I still advocate being a (little) jerk to get the girl's attention, since obviously she thinks she's too good for you.

PROVE HER WRONG!

I say Go!

My school never does anything for Valentines, I mean we can send roses but thats dull. Most roses are sent by people putting them in other peoples names to try and tease/break people up. And once they made a typo on my friends message it should have said "I love you more" but instead it said "I love you mole". It was hilarious.

We get to send candy grams...this year they look like Whinnie the Pooh, Highschool Musical, Hannah Montana and Webkinz *goes wolf and growls at them*

Bboy94

I don't agree about awkwardness JQ. Sometimes they find it cute.

Aureliano

She is your ex for a reason, ZV.  If she did something to miss out the best person ever, then she's SOL amirite?  Just ditch her and go tail hunting.

And you never want to appear "cute."  "Cute" is that nerd that sits in the corner and always blushes, "cute" is that little puppy that waddles when it walks.  You want her to think you are hot, never "cute".
