Somebody help me!! (again)

I'm trying to make a Zelda AMV, but for some reason, I'm having the same problem I had with my old computer.
SAVING.
CLIPS.

Is there anything I can use to save something as a movie clip file? Every time I save a video, I go to look it up with Windows Movie Maker and its NOT THERE. I saved yes, but its nowhere to be found! I've run searches for it and everything.

Also, could anyone provide with a good website to get better codecs for Media Player?

Well, all I can suggest is recording it with Camstudio and then upload that.

It'll probably be foo fightersing bad quality.

I dunno, maybe download Sony Vegas Pro 8 or something.

Are you having issues with downloading a video from the internet? If so, try using Mediaconverter.org. From there, enter the URL of the video, select the file format you want to save the video as, name it, and you should be able to download it from there.

If you're having an issue with saving video clips you made in WMM, however, make sure you know where exactly you're saving the project to before you save it.

And make sure you're wanting all file types to be included while you browse. Maybe WMM isn't detecting the clips because they're not the correctly-specified file type?

I still don't really get it... it's fine, and a little funny.

And you're saving them as .amv's?  Hmm... I'm not sure what I'd recommend.  I mean, I'm sure that just by going to the Windows Media Player home page you'd be able to find the most recent codecs, but it's most likely not a codec problem.  Be sure that you're not saving them with any special properties checked off, like say... "hidden".  That would suck.

Okay, so my dad says there's a program that allows us to scan pictures, and put them on the internet. Apparently we have to type in our computer's serial number and it works. My dad and I can't find the site though. Anyone ever had to do this? I drew an AWESOME picture of Rasul, one of my NPC's at HA2, and I want to scan it to show it off.

That sounds like a scam to me... I'm pretty sure you need your computer's serial number for some security purposes, so I wouldn't go for it.

If you can scan in your pictures and save them to your computer, just use imageshack.com. It's free, and it works great. Just be sure to select "Optimize without resizing." That way, your picture will be smaller in terms of how much room it takes up on a hard drive, but it will be full-size.
