To add to GF's point look at the cold war, it was a nueclear arms race between the Soviet Union(before gorbachev came in) and the U.S. That to me is trying to become a super power

i dont like the sixties. Crappy music. But it is a big part of video game history. the very first video game was built called tennis for two. it was like pong, but on a huge computer system. it was built by a huge team of engineers. I did a report on it once for school. It was either early sixties or late fities.
