Oh, but Fisk, that requires thinking! Kids these days hate thinking, we just want action and killing!
QuotePersonally, I'd prefer a temple full of puzzles to a temple full of enemies. If all I wanna do is kill stuff, I'll play Halo or Motal Kombat. Zelda shouldn't turn into another mindless fighting game. There are already enough of those.
Pretty much summed it all up.

I so wanna see lots of Zoras, and possibly be one. I also want to see a twin, or tri-storyline, like Baten Kaitos Origins. You involuntarily go back a thousand years before the world was destroyed by Wisemans corruption, and they handled that storyline really well. But what I don't want is Ganon, unless a different bad guy takes him out witha smile on their face, and voice acting. And Link talking, not just grunts. And Link being corrupted in some way, with the power of his Triforce.

You should read the new article on ZB if you still think Link should talk. 8)

You don't want him to talk? It would be better than voice acting, in some ways.

Evilslayer

It would kill the game. Simple as that. :-*

The Triforce of COURAGE is unlikely to corrupt anyone. Besides, according to AoL and ALttP has a balanced heart. And that includes Wisdom. And TMC states that Link has a pure heart. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to walk on the clouds.

Yes, there are several Links. But I believe they are all connected, in more than blood.

Yet another example of a comment that needs a link.
I think that they should have Link travel back in time to stop Ganon, who went back to keep Hyrule from being united. Thus the Zoras, Gorons, Hylians, Sheikah and all the other races are at war with eachother. Link would have to get them to get along so Hyrule could be formed.

EvilSlayer, how would Link talking take out Zelda? And not all the Links hae to be pure good. And the only one confirmed to be "pure" was TMC Link. We should actually get to see Link besides the guy that saves the princess. Superman is pure, and thats why he sucks now. Being pure implies predictablity, and that takes away from the character. If Link is always pure, what can go into his personality even if he does talk?

IronKnuckle

I thought that you have to be pure to wield the Master Sword and the Four Sword, so add the OOT, TP, MC, FS, an FSA links to the list.

I think that Link shouldn't talk, but voice acting for everyone else would be wonderful. I always keep saying to my self when I play Zelda "I wonder what this persons voice sounds like" and thats just annoying. I was excited when I heard that Midna was the first Zelda character to have voice acting, but then when I got the game I'm like "WTF, whats the point of giving her VA when she talks in another language?". Speaking of which, if shes talking in Twili (which I am guessing is what shes speaking), how can Link or anyone else understand her?

violinist

I'd like Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf to team up to fight a greater evil, one that is threating Zelda and Ganondorf''s power.

Use your imagination.

Kate

i would like to see harry potter  ,only joking .I would like to see some new monsters .Ehh i also would like to see some giants .

Penguin dude 2

Midna was speaking random words backwards in some random language. And why are so many people here against Link having a personality? :-X Thats what made the Zelda show good. And whats the ZB article?

Commodore Axilon

Zelda show...good?! :o

And you don't need to talk to have a personality. Just look at the TWW and TP Links. Plenty of personality there, yet they didn't utter a single word.

:-[.............is it possible....to use those words together in that order...? Seriously, the Zelda show was the bane of Zelda fans....

Yes, he had plenty of personality, his expressions and actions....you don't have to talk to speak.

That show made Link look like a retard. The writers had him acting like a four year old most of the time and the at times he was serious he had horible dialoge. The whole "excuuuuuuse me princess" thing was funny (an obvious Steve Martin ripoff) but the show relied on that joke too many times and couldn't seem to come up with something new other than groan inducing one liners. The action parts were cheesy as well. I think that making a comedy show about Zelda is a bad idia, Zelda has always been about action/adventure. Links a warrior, not a comedian.
