I never played Super Mario Sunshine... x: Oop.

I did hear something about how Windwaker Link might be in the game. Needless to say, I'd be pretty happy, and I'd pwn everyone with him and his messy, I'm-too-cool-to-brush-my-hair-before-fighting-an-evil-mastermind hair and his rock lobster jammies. <3

I know that he has his rocket launcher.

Also, one of the confirmed stages is the place where Super Mario Sunshine took place.

delfino plaza?

also snake will probably use his survival knife mostly, maybe his cigar spray

DW

Cigar spray...the only problem with that is that it contains a tobacco reference...I'm not sure if they would go with that...maybe make it a pepper spray. Rocket Launchers seem good, it would be like Samus' missles, so it wouldn't break their code. His knife is also very possible.

WW Link? Highly doubtful. They don't need another incarnation of Link.

Gamefreak

Yeah, adding WW Link might be overplaying the Zelda series a tad.

DW

I just hope they don't make all the incarnations of Mario and Luigi that there are rumors about. Like Classic Mario--big no-no. They pulled it off with Game-and-Watch solely because he had been in a wide range of games with different weapons.

Racoon Mario...maybe. Vacuum Luigi....perhaps.

Fishalicious

Well, Young Link turned out pretty well for being another incarnation of Link. I guess it's just my hope for being able to use a more compact, swifter Link. XD; I can't play as Link at all, I cause an epic fail when I do. So... whatever.

...The thought of a knife makes me think of him shanking someone. Oh joy~ Snake's a rather.. mature character, anyways.

They should make it so Link actually uses his shield as a shield. He always gets that... bubble of magic around him instead.

DW

He does use the shield. If you stand still and a projectile hits you, it will bounce off the shield, and doesn't use any of your power shield.

Young Link turned out well because it created a different, nimbler Link. There's really no other way to make him. That's why most characters have one clone, except Mario who has two. Possibly more once this comes out....*shudder*...

Gamefreak

Actually, if you duck, Link will raise his shield and deflect projectiles.

DW

Yeah, it works standing, but works best squatting...

Fishalicious

Well, I meant the power shield.  ;) Sorry that got misinterpreted.

I think tWW Link would end up being more like Young Link, so... well, yeah. XD Like I said, I fight with Young Link, and if he's not in there, it'll suck for me. >:

DW

That would be hard for him to surround his entire body with that shield though.

have you ever played metal gear for NES? snake's got his smokes boy! and as always they drain his health but he just looks so cool i never unequip them!

DW

I'm saying for SSB they probably won't give him his smokes...

Rev Rabies

he also had them in twin snakes, a GCN game, he more than likely will

Gamefreak

That was in Metal Gear Solid though, a rather mature game.  Look who Snake's congregating with in this game.  Pikachu, Mario, Kirby.  Just because it's on Nintendo, doesn't mean it will all be happy, puppies and rainbows, Nintendo was the first to get Resident Evil for God's sake.  Metal Gear Solid could probably do with the smoking, it it's in Brawl, then it might be seen as a ploy to get young people to smoke.
