I'm nearish the Dalai Lama. Odd, I always thought I'd be a little closer centered, or a little more conservative in terms of economics. Well, no, I suppose not. I guess I sort of answered with my gut feeling more than I did logically. Because while I admire the prospect of left-wing restriction and cautious control, I also respect the traditional right-wing ideals of complete freedom. Hmm!
I feel it was a little biased, however. Some of the choices had nothing to do with things political or social, and seemed to pin on the stereotype of which party believes what. For example, the following:
"Abstract art that doesn't represent anything shouldn't be considered art at all."
"Some people are naturally unlucky."
"You cannot be moral without being religious."
"Astrology accurately explains many things."
Why were these here? They were just place-markers based on other famous peoples' opinions, and not just unnecessary but also downright unfair.

That is a major reason why it's a bad idea to trust and put forth a sense of reliability in these things.

What's the real point of going about on this poll? Heh... Divide us? Direct us away from the issues? They always put a calling card on 'measurement', but usually there's little point to it.

DelicateMaiden

There really isnt one. It's just for fun  :)

Well, actually, it's a European Test... not even devised for America... and you are right in saying that a test doesnt necessarily say were you stand. Im more rght wing than that test says.

I'm not really interested in politics anyway, so my score could be much different than that of how I'm actually am.

Also, I think there should be a scale of Radical/Not-radical. Because liberal means to be more free with money and is more toward the economy. Though it is assumed into many other things. And they clearly think left means liberal. Where really if it was based on an overall scale, I would probably be the most radical, left person here. Maybe tied with JQ.

MasterKeyX

You;re definition of liberal is certaintyl wacked out, but yes, other than that, you are correct.

To be liberal with salt means to have use lots of it. And its the same thing with money. Not holding in money, anti-greed and big corporation, etc.

MasterKeyX

Yes, a liberal take money away from the people and give it to the government, using taxes. Typical, I know. Now, back on topic.

 :o You have that backwards.

darkphantomime

I think what Bboy is getting at is the definition and confusion of 'liberal' and 'conservative'. You know, with fiscally conservatives, they save the money and use it for good, instead of spending it frivolrously. And a lot conservatives as we knnow it, prefer to spend their money on big things to emphasize America's Commercialism. Don't believe me? What about all those SUV's and the need for AAALLL that Gas? Not very conservative, are we?

By contrast, the liberals of today want to save or 'conserve' the earth and try to spend money in the right  places instead of using it for frivolrous tax breaks.

See? Confusion and misnominers.

Bboy94

Generally its conserving it for themselves, greed and stuff for conservetives. Where liberals are more free to give it to the people. Is where its supposed to come from.

MasterKeyX

Well, all three of you are liberal, so you're answers are biased. Now, for the second time, I say, back on TOPIC!
