Also, the SNES is awesome. My first game, DKC was on it. And so was my first Zelda, LttP!

Because an NES is so much cheaper. Plus nostalgia.

SNES = $20.00

Each SNES game cartridge = $4-8

Each SNES rom on wii = $8

Nostalgic memories and frustration = priceless.

I already have a wii, but I'd much rather play the actual game on the real system. Besides, it will probably cost less to get the actual system than pay for each individual game. And, VC doesn't have every game.

But then you have to buy the system and the game.

Well, each SNES game on the VC is 800 points, am I right? That's equal to $8. Most of the things on ebay not only cost less than $20, they usually come with a few games too. And some people sell like 20 games at a time for a low price.

Plus, games are more fun on their original consoles. Or rather, that's what I find.

Those are just some of the reasons I decided to get an NES rather then mess around with the Wii shop channel.

Anyways, White Mage, I wish you luck on finding a good system. Don't be afraid to be picky, either. It's much better to do that than to get something you're not quite happy with.

Well, never mind. My parents just epically shot down my propasal to buy a SNES. They say I have too many vieo game systems. Maybe when I get rid of my Gamecube they'll reconsider...

That's crazy! I think that if you're willing to spend your own money, you should be allowed to, especially if it's something you take an interest in. You should have a serious talk with your parents about this.

Oh well... You could always buy a Classic controller and you know...
