Ganon will be in the game, Aonuma confirmed it.

As for the figure on the cover... I'm thinking a underboss/pawn of Ganon. We'll see.

I have a little thought noodling in my mind that the person in the black could be a "good guy." Just a possibility...

Though I hope that the figure doesn't turn out to be Zelda, as so happens every few Zelda games :D.

Actually, now that you mention it... especially since the stalfos on the other picture looks particularly evil. Good thinking, I think you've got something with that one!

The picture shows them stand back to back as if they are allies, but also they have different scenes behind them. On Link's side there is the image of a wolf on a cliff and the cloaked figure has a rather evil looking castle with creatures flying around it, which supports the idea that they are enemies.

The cloak also has the symbol of the shiekah on it which suggests ally as Shiek helps Link on his quest in OoT, but the design also looks similar to the cloak the Ganon was wearing in TWW.

So, in conclusion, I have no idea of who it is or if they are friend or foe. (Maybe I should have just said that?)

i gtot 5the new EG last night and saw a pic of link 5 words: link looks like a hobo! not link in his tunic but that so called clothing what is that!?!

Hmm yes, the hodge-podge non-symmetrical look is something different. Reminds me a bit of Tidus from FFX, if you know what I mean (with the leg thing and all).

Doesn't bother me though ^^. It's not like that's his main outfit or anything.

Also there is a rumour going round that the title of the new Zelda game will be 'Twilight Princess'.

Hopefully tomorrow we will find out.
