Im agreeing with inuyasha here. I heard from a lot of people that snake would stage an appearance in it. And get this. In the Game Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, Just after you defeat The rouge Ninja Guy, If you look behind you, on top of the computer, there are two models of Yoshi and Mario. If you shoot them they make funny noises too! I think there is a slight possibility that Snake is in fact in Super Smash bros. Brawl. Great Pic Inuyaha! Just be a little nicer to the killer alrapy, and the rest of the site. He did have a good point. However Twin Snakes was also released for the game cube. Snake is a possibility.

I can't remember where, but I read that Metal Gear Solid's creator had begged for Snake to be in SSBM, but it was too late to add him in, so Snake is now going to be in Brawl.

As stated in Wikipedia somewhere(I  don't have the time to check where).  Is the first 3rd party character to be placed in a SSB game.

And I certainly hope for more.  Think of the amazing possibilities.  Surely we all wondered who would win in a fight:  Cloud Strife or Link?

They wouldn't put Cloud in.  Even though Snake is from a third party, he is still mostly relative to the Nintendo.  A good recommendation would be Soma Cruz from Castlevania: Aria/Dawn of Sorrow.

The Japanese were asked what characters they would like to see in Smash Bros., and Cloud and Sephiroth were in there.

Replying to Gamefreak, Square Enix had the first four Final Fantasies on Nintendo systems.  A poor argument, I know, but I rule at poor arguments.  Either way, I want some FF characters in there.  Odd to ask for that, since I haven't played a FF game yet.  *shrugs*

Oh, you haven't? Those games are awesome (including the Kingdom Hearts series); you should play them the first chance you get. FFVII, in particular!

I think I played on from the old Game Boy.  I can't remember the name, but Sword of Mana is a remake of it.  I'm pretty sure it was a FF game, but I just don't remember.  Curse my memory! >:(

I too am a big fan of Square.  Though their best characters were on the Sony games.  The only characters they could put on SSB would be the ones nobody has heard about.

None.  I was just saying that the only Final Fantasys on the Nintendo consoles were the one's up to the SNES.  The only major characters we would recognize would be like Cecil from FF IV.

Assuming your family had a SNES and had FF IV.  But they remade it for the GBA, and I would like to get it.

They could have a Chocobo in SSBB.  I'm familiar with that bird from the FF series.  I had on in Final Fantasy Adventures.  Then I got stuck in the desert.
