Scimitars are more viewed as evil weapons though.

A fencing sword could still be useful, he could stab into the enemy. It would be hard to block for sure.

Well, Darknuts in TP did a good job of blocking and skewering with a rapier. ;D

Besides... broadswords are two-handed and don't make a good couple with a shield on a battlefield. I think a rapier or a less cumbersome sword would be a better choice.

If you're good at dodging, a shield isn't necessary.  Always nice to have, but not always necessary.

Not all broadswords are 2 handers. The Master Swod is a broadsword. And Darknut uses broadswords in TP. A example of a rapier is those swords they use in the movie Princess Bride. A cutless would be cool (these are like the swords in Pirates of the Caribean) or a machete.

...The master sword should probably be a two-hander. Of course, I can't really hold a sword anyways, so... XD; There you go.

They use broadswords at first, then they chuck it at you and then use a rapier once their armour is gone. I know what a rapier is. :B

Actually, not all broadswords are two-handers. You're probably thinking of a flamberge...those are massive...anyways, a cutlass just doesn't seem to fit...a rapier I can see maybe.

What would be interesting is if he used a weapon BESIDES a sword...the kokiri sword was basically a dagger anyways :P

It's always amused me that he can kill something with some seeds in a slingshot. 'Cause I mean... well. XD (I was shooting those fish in the water temple with a slingshot the other day.)

A cutlass would be fit for Phantom Hourglass, since Link is technically a pirate in that game. XD Still, the thought amuses me...

As for other weapons~ how about a spear? I like those.

He's not really becoming a pirate, I doubt he would be terrorizing and looting everyone. He's more of a sailor.

What about a Naginata? It's like a spear, but it's got a really long, almost sword-esque blade at the end.

NOBODY could use a sword like Zabuza's, it's just insane. I don't think it has a type.
