Why must disney suck so bad?

My cousin REALLY likes princess stuff: Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid...etc. but surpirisingly hates Princess Zelda.

You should read her the "real" versions. Disney always deletes parts of the story that they consider to be too cruel, sad or something. But those parts often make the story better, or at least less cheesy. Especially The Little Mermaid. But Cinderella also has some nice parts Disney skipped. Did you know C's stepsisters cut off parts of their own feet so they would be able to squeesh them into that shoe?

Yeah, like Anastasia, even though it wasn't a Disney movie, it was 20th Centurty Fox, the real story went: Anastasia wasn't really the grand dutchess or whatever. Or on Pocahauntas, it turned out John Smith didn't really like her that much, and they also make her look much older than she really, I heard she was about 12.

Disney definitely didn't go along with the Grimm Brothers on Cinderella.

The age-thing is the ONLY thing I'm prepared to forgive. The world has changed and a lot of characters of a lot of stories would've probably been a lot younger than whatever they are in the story. Yeah, Pocahontas was a lot younger than Disney tries to make you believe, but no way Snow White, the characters from Hercules, Sleeping Beauty have realistic ages. But I think it might be wise to make a little more adult these days.

if you ever read an actual fairy tale, sometimes they're really cruel and gruesome. But they are wonderful stories, such as Hansel ans Gretel...good story.

Or Snow White. I reas the REAL version and that guard who has to kill her kills a passing animal instead.

Well, that's quite close to the movie version; the guard kills a pig for its heart instead of Snow White's.

Actually my cousin's a she, but yeah, she is kinda weird. When she couldn't think of a mean name to call me when she was mad at me one time, she just called me a "mean frog"

Whenever she gets REALLY mad, she just says the first thing that pops into her head.
My favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast.
