Well, let me start off by saying that I grew up playing the NES as a kid. I've been gaming for well over 20 years now. My favorite console is obviously the NES Deluxe Set with R.O.B. I'm very proud to say that I actually own a NES Deluxe Set in nearly new condition, complete with everything it originally came with, including the plastic it was wrapped in, super rare Duck Hunt and Gyromite games in boxes, manuals, posters, Nintendo's Official seal of approval card and everything!

My favorite game franchise is without a doubt The Legend of Zelda. I own an authentic, original, FACTORY SEALED, brand new, never opened, The Legend of Zelda game for NES! (Gold Cartridge Edition) It has the horizontal line on the back in the plastic seal and even has the original plastic hanger! It's exactly the same as if you went in the stores in 1987 and bought it. On top of that I have Zelda II The Adventure of Link (Gold Cartridge Edition) and Ocarina of Time Collectors Edition, both FACTORY SEALED in the exact same condition. First runs of everything.

I own and have beaten all of the Zelda games with an exception to the Phillips CD-i games.

I can remember opening up the very first Legend of Zelda for NES in 1987 and seeing the gold cartridge for the very first time. I've been hooked on Zelda games ever since! One things for certain, I love classic Nintendo and Zelda! I'm a hardcore, old-school, gamer, from back in the day who's all about the classics!

I'm well aware that nobody truly deserves to use the great man's name, but I've probably been playing his games longer than any of you. Even if I never post again, I'm still probably more deserving to use it. As far as that goes. The only reason I even mentioned these facts, is that I was very rudely confronted by your Mod Zelda Veteran. (Via PM)
Anyway, I hope the rest of you are much kinder than he is!

Hi, I'm johnny139. I've been a Zelda fan since ALttP, and it remains my favorite game of all time. I'm a self-proclaimed goober, I write fan-fics and theorize on timelines and such. The Desert Colossus is my favorite Zelda site, mostly because of it's outside the box thinking (finally a site that disagrees with the Zora-Rito theory!) and the Compendium. I hope to become an avid poster and an upstanding member of the community.

Other interests of mine are Anime (Rurouni Kenshin FTW!) and board games (Heroscape rocks!), along with discussing the end of the world.

Yay! welcome! It would probably be a good idea to read through some of the forum games, mostly person above, to find out more about people. We are all pretty trustworthy and polite though, and we are to a degree insane.

hey..... I have been a zelda fan since my brother showed me the wind waker, and I recently got  twilight princess. i love the game so far.... and well ya..... I'll try to stay active, you guys seem really nice.

Yeah, SNH usually appears over AIM, but whenever I find him, and stick him back in the hat, which I obtained from the Minish. ;D

Well, he doesn't like to admit it, but they were fraternal triplets, and one of them just so happened to be named after a funny feeling, and likes to wear green skintight close with red bikini bottoms on the outside, plus he is an extraordinary ruppee-pincher...
