No. Fisk is right, and everybody else is wrong. It's "goo goo g'joob".

Look up the lyrics, man.

Also, who was x*Jerome"The Kid"Johnson"*x originally?

Twilight Wolf

What, you expect me to say something witty?

Gamefreak

Shame on you Rabies, misquoting The Beatles.

"After you've scrubbed all the floors in Hyrule.  Then we can talk about mercy!"

Rev Rabies

i'd like to see a signed document from one of the remaining beatles saying that's the lyrics before i admit to being wrong

Gamefreak

You dare challenge The Lord of Lulz, Fisk, and myself to a question like that?

YOU MUST DIE!

Fishalicious

Oh, and TW. He has Beatles records and CDs. He has the lyrics.

He knows, he knows.

...I really need a better avatar of a walrus.

Rev Rabies

Like i said, signed document from a surviving beatle, comparig those words to the song doesn't even sound right

darkphantomime

So you're telling us that official documents that were the source of the lyrics aren't proof enough?

Anyway, we're getting a bit off topic now.

As Fisk said, I know. The lyrics are, indeed, "Goo goo g'joob." The official lyrics sheet in the album "1967-1970" prints these words exactly. I would use the lyrics sheet from "Magical Mystery Tour," which is the original EP/album the song was made available on, but the lyrics for all of the songs in the album seem to be universally poorly written.

There you have it, straight from me, the resident Beatles fanatic. I'm as good as a Beatle when it comes to this sort of info.

Oh, and here's a picture for you, Fisk. Click here.

Rev Rabies

Anyone can make a lyrics sheet and put it in a cd case...

Twilight Wolf

"Anyone" didn't. "1967-1970" is an official Beatles album, even if it is simply a "Greatest Hits" compilation. I would consider the lyrics sheet for this album canon for any disputes regarding lyrics.

Oh, and the album is also much older than any CD: it was released April 19th, 1973.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Fishalicious

...yeah, but you know, the fact that it was approved by The Beatles kind of... well, makes those the official lyrics.

Also, listen to the song sometimes; he sings "Goo goo g'joob," of this I'm certain.

and thanks for the avatar, TW. I'm crying, I'm crying.

Twilight Wolf

That's another good point: The Beatles themselves were involved in the creation of the album. They participated in choosing the songs for the album, as well as other things.

You're welcome, by the way, Fisk.
