:oProfessor! Aren't you supposed to influence the young children?

just kidding, nice one. I really don't think Pamela is that hot, just because she has a large set of...wellll...tofu. Not to mention she is as dumb as it gets...

Hehe yeah but so what she is still hot. Besides not like kids are knowing this stuff younger and younger anyways (btw I know why children are "developing" faster then before but won't mention it hehe). But tell me if she was laying on your bed you wouldn't get any ideas? I know you will, but still PETA is wrong and needs to rethink its agenda.

I mean, they DO terrorize, but they're not THAT bad...they dont blow up buildings in the streets of my city, like the Taliban or Al-Qaeda. >:(

Au contraire. They do indeed burn and blow up buildings, make threats on the lives of farmers and scientists, and host seminars to instruct others on how to make explosives.

Most of those are from Center for Consumer Freedom, which has a few quirks of its own, but they do give facts about PeTA. Sorry I haven't gathered much here for you...there's a lot about it available all over the web, so much that it's sort of hard to sift through!
Also sorry I'm steering this more off-topic!

Okay, so back on topic. No, if you eat seafood and fish I don't think you're technically considered a vegetarian. I'm the same way-- eating my fishes and sea-bugs. :3 Vegetarian allows as much as dairy and eggs. There's probably some different interpretation to that, though!
I guess most here are pretty much meat-eaters.

MasterKeyX

Actaully, some vegetarians don't ebven eat eggs or drink milk. Some will go as far as to not eat anything from an animal,  at ALL. But, like ewverything else in this topic, it's a matter of perspective.

Yeah those are mostly vegans who won't eat any animal product at all. And then you even got those vegans who will only eat things raw.

MasterKeyX

RAW? No offense, guys, but that's a little weird and over the top..that's not even healthy!

"I'm a level 5 vegan. I won't eat anything that casts a shadow."

Oh! Like these guys: http://gliving.tv/greenchefs/
What makes me laugh is that the ingredients for that "raw" food are so expensive, and in any nourishing quantity many of them would also make you pretty sick. I mean, there's a carrot cake recipe in there that while it sounds really good, I shudder at the thought of putting that much ground/pureed nuts and dried fruit in my body. Dear god, I'd be at the toilet for the rest of the week.

MasterKeyX

It's an unrealistic idea, this whole elimination of meats and other animal products. It can never be attained.

everything is tied to animals in a way.  You name on food and I can name how it relates to animals.

You can't really get out of harming animals, either, even if you're a vegetarian or a vegan. Like grains and other crops? Whenever they're harvested, TONS of animals get crushed/maimed/ground up in the combines.
So yeah, you're right. Everything really does tie to animals.

MasterKeyX

Exactly, and thats is why being a vegan or a vegtarian is a very tough and often undesirble path to follow.

In cereal, there's a certain amount of rat droppings you can exceed-- which means there's probably sterile rat feces in your cereal. ... Not to gross anyone out, but that deals with animals, it's an animal bi-product. Does this mean they wouldn't eat cereal because it's against their ordeals? (...this wasn't really meant as an insult, more of a question. x;)

I don't have anything against vegans or vegetarians unless they force their beliefs on me. Or... if they're one of those crazy PETA extremists...

I think there was an ad once that said "YOUR FATHER MURDERS FISH" and they said it was unusually cruel to catch fish. But... well, fish have very blunt nerve endings. So... I don't see what's so bad.

When I used to go fishing, we would knock the fish unconscience for a while after reeling it in, so it was unconscience when we took it home, and didn't feel a thing before we cooked it. So... it was a painless death. Unless they think death in general is cruel, but... gyaaah.

DW

Hey, it's better for it to be killed that way than it is killed naturally, torn up by bears and hawks...

Fishalicious

Yeah, I'm sure it prefers it that way... but then again, fish don't feel much, and that was my point, so it's probably feeling dull aches whilst being mauled by a bear. c:
