this is odd, my PC deleted my Wi-Fi thing, and now it won't let me re install it either, it keeps saying I need to have it plugged in when clearly I do!

Then try to have it so that there aren't as many objects that may be between the Wii and the Wi-Fi Connector. If you must, try using the cord to redirect the signal so the Wii can pick it up. Also, try to make sure that there isn't anything on/by/next to the Wii when you try to connect, as that may interfere with the signal.

No, they don't use internet. It isn't what you have on, it's stuff in the way. Or maybe your Wii is too far away? How close are the computer and Wii?

Probably like 5 or 6 feet, idk? it should read... it did it the first time I did it, just fine, and I had firewall shut off, I really have no clue why its not working...

Yeah, it really isn't that far from his computer. But right now, I have my Wii, like...four feet, probably, from the computer, and even then, the signal can be blocked sometimes. See if you can point the end of the Connector opposite the USB plug toward the Wii; I noticed that when mine was planted right into the ground this morning, the Wii didn't pick up the signal.

The side I'm talking about is the one with the dark plastic thing at the end of it. Think of it like a TV remote. You don't want anything in your way when you try to change channels, or else the TV might not pick up the signal. The same concept applies here.

Also, be sure to renew your connection by checking it in the Connection Setting menu.
