Let's see, I'm at an ECL of 10; eight levels in duskblade and two in dragon disciple.  I have a flaming magical beast bane morning star, upgraded from a +1 morning star specifically for use agaisnt owlbears.  My base attack bonus with the morning star alone beats the owlbears Armor Class of 15 by one (+9 base attack bonus, +1 from using a +1 weapon, +2 for the weapon having a bane effective against the owlbear, +4 from my strength modifier).  As a duskblade, I can cast touch spells into my weapon, which I usually do.  So for damage, we have a d8 from the morning star, a d6 for being a flaming morning star, 2d6 for being a bane weapon effective against owlbears, and 5d6 for the shocking grasp in in the morning star.  Seeing as how that won't be enough, I can quick cast scorching ray, using two rays.  My base attack bonus for that (+9 for base attack bonus, +2 for DEX mod.) beats the owlbears touch AC by one.  Each ray does 4d6, so I'd be adding another 8d6 of damage.  Assuming I don't crit fumble or crit on any of the attacks, let's roll damage.  *rolls a crapload of dice*  I dealt 71 points of damage to the owlbear, which only has, on average, 52 HP.  In D&D, 0 HP is disabled, -1 through -9 is unconscious and dying, and -10 is dead.  The owlbear is at -19 HP.  Yeah, against one owlbear, I would win.

ah I can't remember was that the term that HNS prefers to be called? I remember a long itme ago he specified he would rather be called something...seriously dude leave him be, people have different interests. My stepdad says I play too many video games when his daughters play twice as much and really don't ever leave the house, so I know what it's like.
