heres one of my scary memories!

it was last halloween, and we went to this carnival thingy. they have these different rides and walkthrought things. so, my friend katy wanted to go on one of the 5 skull rides (they use this skull rating system the more skulls the scarier. highest rating: 5 1/2 skulls) you had to walk through this maze thing and there were people dressed up and all kinds of traps and stuff. the lady said i was too young to go on the ride ( i was only 12 at the time!) but she said i could go as long as katy was with me. ( who was 13 at the time) so we waited inline and we got to the front finally. we were both soooo scared! then we ENTERED (hand in hand out of scaredness, embarasing!) and there was this long cramped castle like dark hallway, and along one side of it there was this big scary guy with chains in a cage. well when you get to the end of the hallway you see the cage is open.... the scary guy swung the chain in between us and seperated us! he chased katy away from me! not even noticing that she wasnt there by my side, i ran the other direction, then stoped. i had no clue were she was! so i did the stupidest thing in the world, i started calling her name. ANOTHER BIG MASTAKE. a phantom heard me and appeared out of the darkness, and then another and another, there were 4! ahhhhh! i didnt want to leave her so i kept calling. by then the phantoms were so close i had to run! they were grabing at me and i was sure i was a goner, but i got away. i had to go through the whooolle entire thing by myself! it was one of the scariest things ever! i encountered warewolves, clowns, freddy, jason, aliens, the texas chainsaw masacre, and even samara from the ring! there was also fog and quicksand. i had a few really close calls. turns out when i finally got to the end of the maze katy was there waiting for me. when we got seperated she ran out the entrance...

i will never forget how brave i was! and i will always have braging rights over katy. :)

plus i was only 12!
now im almost 14!
so yeah, it was scary

I'm 12! I'm not allowed to leave the state legally, and you haven't told me where you live yet. Also, I don't get scared easily. Suprised, yes.

Once. It was a halloween night. Me and my friends, had just got back to the house after a long night of trick or treating. It was near mid-night. we were all trading candy, when my frind jim turned as white as a ghost. In the Blink of an eye, he was at his front door trying to get it open, cussing like a maniac. After i calmed him down, i asked him what happened. He said he saw a demon in the corner of his Yard, near the tree, and the bushes. I would have known he was Joking, But he was trembling all over. I knew he was seriouse. I convinced him, that he was probably seeing things, and that we were going to hide, and scare trick or treaters. He was too scared to move. We decided to go inside. I tried to convince the rest of the guys, that jim had really seen something, but they were going YEAH UH HUH! SURE YOU DID!Then one of them must have seen it, freaked out, and ran inside screaming. We all went inside screaming our heads off. The dogs were going crazy. We took them out side, and their hair stood up on end. We never found out what was in that corner. We had figured it was the ghost of Mrs. Tucker. Our next door neighbor who had died a year before. To this day, it remains a mystery. If that house had ears, it would have quite a story to tell. That was possibly one of the scariest moments of my life. I hope you enjoyed it. Because i didnt. :(

Whoa, that would be a very creepy situation. Did you have an instrument? If you did, perhaps playing the Song of Healing would do some good...? ;) But, yeah, ZV, you're kind of creeping me out here. I mean, I'm in the dark, typing. :-\

Did you get any explanation of how it looked, by any chance?

Dude, are you in the dark at all? I am, and the only source of light is my computer monitor (and the light in the other room, which is not enough to give me sufficient light). Of course, it's not the darkness that's scary; it's what's lurking inside it, as Riku once said.

I'm in the dark, but I don't understand how people are scared like that. It's so stupid, the story isn't worth anything to me.

It's more of the fear of the unknown that gets me in the dark.

I jumped at the end of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Sheesh, Whocares, show some sensitivity.  Just because you don't scare easy doesn't mean other people don't either.

I can't remember my scariest moment but this one freaked me out...

Me and 3 friends were in our local park and it was just turning dark. We were playing volleyball across the football posts and my mate was telling us about a dream she had had:
We were all in the park with loads of people and this dude with a chainsaw rushed in and started slaughtering everyone. we all died apart from my mate. She ran to my house and had to tell my parents how I died and how half of the village we live in was being killed.
Then she woke up.
It scared us so much because the situation was exactly the same (it was the same time, day and we were doing the same thing as in the dream) we ran all the way back to her house. By that time it was almost pitch black and we were sprinting down all these dark alleys and tripping over tree roots. We arrived at my mates house terrified and panting It was awful.
