There is this one room I can't seem to get to in the Fire Temple.  Is that it?  Do you even mean the N64 version or the GameCube version?

You have to know the scarecrow song to get in. To learn it, go to Lake Hylia's coast as a child and speak to the scarecrow closest to the lake and play the orcarina. Make your own song, he'll remember it. Go to him as a teenager and play the song. It will forever be the scarecrow's song. Playing it in certain places will bring the other scarecrow, and you can reach him with the hookshot. You can find secret things like skulltulas in adult dungeons this way. Here's the room, make sure you have the longshot: Go to the room with all those slugs and moving rocks. If you're on the second floor, go to the cliff thing next to the tower. Navi will fly away and glow green. Play the song and a scarecrow will appear. Longshot to it and go to the egde of the cliff. A cliff far away will float to you. Get on it and go to the door it'll take you to. Use the longshot on the skulltula and take the token. Then step on the switch. Some fire around a chest will disappear. Go towards a pole a little bit and then longshot towards it. The open the chest before the timer runs out. It has money, alot.
