What are the chances of the Lions going to the superbowl, I say with Brian Calhoon(Not sure if last name is spelled right) Is a running back for us, and could be the next Barry Sanders.

Darth Wyndisis

Lions are my favorite NFC team (second fav. overall) so I would love to see them make the playoffs.  A Superbowl for them would be great.  I haven't followed the Lions very well.  What round did that RB get selected in?  And I thought the Lions had a good RB already, and just needed to upgrade their QB position to improve, which they did (John "These guys ain't betta'n us!" Kitna)

JDog

I think Brian Calhoon got drafted in the Lions 3 pick, but the draft round, I don't remember, but i've seen him play in live college football against michigan vs wisconsin(Brian Calhoon) and he was pritty good. Anyway Im not much of a Stealer Fan.

Gamefreak

I used to like the Dolphins when Dan Marino was QB.  But since he left the team has gone downhill.

Darth Wyndisis

I like Dan Marino.  He was a great quarterback.

JDog

I have a rookie card of Dan Marino.

Update:  Ben is expected to start throwing this week. ;D

MagmarFire

That's fortunate. ;D

It's also quite amazing that he recovered fairly quickly, assuming he was heavily damaged.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

He was hurt pretty bad but not as much as he could have.  I have yet to see a picture of him post accident but it sounds like he doesn't look that bad.  I think he feels bad for putting the season in jeopardy though.

One thing that makes me mad is how some "fans" reacted to the accident.  They started writing the 62 year old lady who hit him threats.  That is dispicable.  It was just an old lady who hit some random guy who happened to be a very good quarterback.

MagmarFire

Are you serious!?

You're right; that IS despicable! After all, it was just an accident! A complete, unplanned accident, and yet, people just have to act stupid and threaten her! I mean, do they not know it was an accident or something?

I don't even know what goes on in their heads.  They must have had abusive childhoods or something.  Either that or they are just plain crazy.

saria..

she probably coulnt see for sh** ;)

To avoid triple post, my last two posts:

QuoteMotorcycles seem to be invisible to a lot of people.  That is why there is such a high rate of accidents.
QuoteUpdate:  Hey, he's back, and he looks pretty good.

He is going to be on an interview on ESPN at 6:00 EST (Sports Center)  I am looking forward to it.  You can hardly tell that anything happened to him.

Some people don't want to wear a seal belt because it's uncomfortable.  Well, I'm sure getting lacerated by the windshield is worse.  Others say they don't want to wear a seatbelt because they don't want to ruin their nice dress clothes.  Well, it's going to get ruined when paramedics (or even a coroner) have to cut you out of it to save your life (or in the case of the coroner, perform an autopsy).  People need to get their priorities straight.
when i was 7 years old a seatbelt saved my life when my dad was in a car accident.
the point is seatbelts save lives

SR, please don't double post.
