Why would Link have to defeat Ganon without her help? TWW Link appreciated Tetra's/Zelda's help. And it's not like Link has the exclusive right to fight Ganon(dorf).
To answer your first question, test of a hero.  TWW Link is a different Link, and TWW Zelda is a different Zelda; they won't necessarily have the same personalities as their OoT counterparts.  And you're right; it's not like Link has the exclusive right to fight Ganon.  It's just that he's the only one who ever manages to get everything needed to defeat him.

QuoteAnd if nothing can pass that barrier, why didn't she throw the sword over it (I don't remember the height of the wall) or magically got it on the other side or do the Sheikah transportation thing again (if that was anything special to begin with).
There could be any number of reasons why Zelda couldn't get the Master Sword over to Link.  But like I said, test of a hero.  Sometimes, the hero has to do it alone.

QuoteHowever, I think I would've been able to forgive her if she wouldn't scream everytime Link got hit, while she's clearly not even attempting to do anything. I don't believe she was helpless. She's Zelda after all.
So, you wouldn't do anything to show concern if someone you cared for got hurt?  It's pretty much human nature to show concern for people you love, and it just so happens that Zelda lets out a scream.  That doesn't make her any less of a person than anyone else.

Great choice of words. :)

But to get back to Link/Zelda/Ganondorf: test of a hero?!?! This isn't about Link, this is about Hyrule! Its future, its people. Not some minor peasant with an identity crisis. How about the test of royal responsibility? Didn't she even say she was the one that dragged him into this? Doesn't that give her the responsiblity to make sure he'll get out of it alive?
It's not important whether or not Link and Zelda from OOT are not the same as the ones from TWW. I do not blame Zelda for not helping Link during the fight by also fighting. She ain't Tetra. I blame her for not even attempting to do anything while she herself is apparently convinced this is all her fault and after acting like the big, mysterious "oh look, I can dissapear and leave you clueless whenever I feel like it" Sheikah. Like when she got trapped in that crystal, I don't blame her. It's not something she could've changed or avoided. Not helping in any way during the fight? Okay, after everything that has happened, that is sort of unrealistic. Even a simple "look out" would've been appreciated or an explanation why she can't do anything (if she would've been captured in a crystal, or hit unconcious with a rock, that would work too). Then again, I assume even Zelda can't defend herself against the developers. :D

Oh, I would show concern. But not by screaming all the time and only after I made sure there's absolutely nothing I can do. The usual order: Scream the name of the one in danger while looking terrified, then find a way to help and if that's not possible, try giving advice. But not screaming all the time. In fact, in the beginning, because of her screaming, I often turned away from Ganon to see if she wasn't in danger.

I do not dislike Zelda for it, I just was sort of highly dissapointed in her OOT adult version. I liked her as a kid, she was charming. I liked Sheik, because he was an alter ego like I've never seen before. But I can't match them with adult Zelda. Adult Zelda, even not looking at the fight, was a painful experience. Selfpity, I can't stand it. And the fact she thinks that just because she is the Sage Of Time she has the right to say what's supposed to happen just made me sick. You know about the Elfquest comics? A similar situation happened in it. In the comic, the elves are descendants from aliens without an own shape, that wanted to visit earth temporarly. They took on humanoid forms that matched the "medieval" humans' idea of gods and divine creatures. Something went wrong though, and they got warped back in time to a world in which the humans had barely developed intelligence. The ship crashed and they had to find a way to survive. Except for one, all died in the centuries that followed. Their descendants, the elves found out many centuries later about their true heritage. One of them, Rayek, decided he wanted to prevent the timewarp from ever happening, so that the "High Ones" would not have to die. All elves who would be aboard the ship would survive this manipulation of events. He thought he had the right to decide what is the good thing to happen and that he had the right to make that happen. Another elf, Cutter, told him that whether it was good or bad what happened, it happened and that justified it. While I see more lives saved than lost by what Zelda decided to do, as opposed to what Rayek wanted to do, it is not fair. Sometimes, bad things happen, but that's just the way it is. I haven't seen her prevent the war before OOT either. She never asked what Link wanted. She said she dragged him into it, but even while she's saying that, she continues to drag him into it. I would expect more of the holder of the Triforce Of Wisdom.

Hi no Seijin

Okay, but you probably shouldn't assume that she didn't try to help.  After all, you should be preoccupied with fighting Ganon, not seeing what Zelda is doing.  As far as we know, she could've tried everything in her power to help Link, but couldn't because Ganon was too strong.  Link had to weaken him first before Zelda could do anything about it.

Well, one thing's for sure: as soon as we get TP and figure out who Midna REALLY is, then all our questions will be answered!  :)

I didn't assume anything, I've never seen/hear/notice her do anything. That is concluding. But you've given me something to think about. You do have a point.

Evilslayer

Of course she doesn't do anything. The N64 doesn't have an advanced AI.<_< Notice that she DO help him in the first ever Zelda game with an advanced AI.
