Invent-A-Weapon

[Hi no Seijin]

It's not a weapon I invented, but the spinner needs to come back.  I barely got any chances to use it in TP. :'(

I am NOT gonna give "my" weapons a name, simply because it will never sound good.

*Electric Cane (I LOVE the canes/rods/wands): As a weapon, it is of reasonable strength (real weapons are still better) and does not consume magic (or does, but only a very little). It's just a long-distance weapon that sends lightning through the target. As an item, it can be used to power up old machines in dungeons or new machines in towns.

*Ice Cane (Did I mention my love for canes/rods/wands already?): it causes a small pillar of ice to emerge from the ground and temproarly freeze the opponent. Only freezes him/her for about half a second and does about the same amount of damage as the former mentioned cane. As an item, it does the same (create a pillar of ice). Depending on the temperature in the area the pillar is created in and whether it actually is created with the aid of water, it will melt/disappear faster (or not at all). Can be used to create platforms in the water, a bridge-platform (like in Golden Sun) or be used to press buttons located on the ceiling rather than the floor.

*Net: 2D-gameplay. Used to be able to hit ghosts and the likes, cause it makes them physical. As an item used to reach higher areas, because it can function as a trampoline on certain locations.

Hmm.. I like them, I like them. But can I help think up names? The Ice Cane can be... the Zero Cane... and the Lightning Cane can be... the Flash Cane.

Net is okay though.

Im not syaing this to impose, I really liekd your weapons. I just wanted to throw the suggestions for names out there...

:) I really don't mind others coming up with names if I can't think of any or if those names are better. There good names (I like the Zero Cane-name, because I probably wouldn't have been able to come up with anything else than: snow, ice, frost, cool, cold etc.)

Bow of Light

Hold down A to charge, and point anywhere on the screen with the remote. Shoot at enemy to see a cool slowmotion vaporizing exploding shining death on screen and get 5 hearts. Consumes full magic meter; used 5 times per full meter.

That makes no sense. It consumes your whole meter, but used five times per meter?

The next four times your magic meter fills up, it's instantly depleted.

Still a rather stupid idea.  Just stop at the "consumes full magic meter" bit.

Pretty much all the weapons in here are uber insta-kills. It's kinda cheap, it shows how lacking we are in the creativity department.

Yeah, in WW you could kill Darknuts and Moblins by firing an arrow at them; they just dissolve away into a beam of light.

Okay, so it's not really a weapon, but I want to be able to customise Epona... you know, like change her saddle/blankets with various others...

Oh, maybe have bags on Epona so you could store things in your inventory (like potions/faeries/pieces of hawk grass, if they add that again) and switch your stuff around... but if she has a faerie in her pockets, when you die on horseback, you don't waste your inventory faeries!

A mountable javelin could work, too, I guess. Weapon-wise, I think that's as far as that would ever get. Oh, or add a cucco weapon, it flies like the deku leaf, but if an enemy attacks you while flying, you fall, but the cucco kills it.

Also, Epona COULD use some armor...poor thing is always getting hit...
