Russia would most likely, in my opinion, be neutral.

And when i say terrorists, it isnt right to just say Muslims. i mean all terrorists would be against us, no matter what ethnic backround they are.

1. Russia is supposedly slipping back into the old days.

Russia isn't that great of an ally.  The only thing they would have an advantage of during a home front war would be having the largest landmass of any country, and horrible winters.

That's very true. Those winters destroyed both Hitler and Napoleon's troops

The co-advantage of that(did I just make up a word)? is that you probably couldn't conquer Russia, in one year.  Therefore, unless you have really good equipment, the Winters would destroy you.

Plus taking over that much land would take quite some time.

I just said that.  I said you wouldn't be able to take over Russia in a year.  So you would get caught up in the Winters.

Well it could be possible to defeat them in less than a year depending on power, size, and will of both armies

Germany could have defeated Russia in a year if it beat France first in WWI. Russia was on the verge of revolution and, even though it was a great power, had one of the worst armies in Europe. While Germany fought France, Austria-Hungary should defend Germany while conquering Serbia and its ally, Montenegro. Austria couldn't do both, so it failed to take Serbia three times. France, Britain, and Belgium all had their forces defending Paris offend at all times, causing Germany to retreat. Russia mobilized faster than expected, making Germany send several troops to fight Russia. Everything depended on speed and the enemies not being capable of joining together to become a force as powerful as the German army.
