I noticed some political tention bubbling up in the Korea Bomb post. Rather than go off topic, lets duke it out here. My Family voted for Al Gore. And then for John Kerry. I believe Bush cheated the elections. There are many things that point to the fact, that bush is as dumb as a post. I am not insulting anyone. im just voicing my opinion. ill be back with funny clips! :D

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

I'm for bush but i will admit he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Now i'm not into polotics as much as some people here but the way I see the war is we thought there were WMD's so we had the right to go check it out and then we decided to go after Saddam in hopes of stopping terrorism

I agree with you.  And good came out of it too.  We kicked Saddam's butt out of power, killed his sons, and now we are trying to fix the mess, which is the responsible thing to do.  That country desperatly needed to be rebuilt, so we smashed it with a hammer, and now we are putting the pieces back together.  Democracy takes a long time to develope.  But believe me, the people who aren't blowing themselves up like idiots want a free country.

I don't like Our primeminister, Tony Blair. 10 years in Labour and he still aint delivered!
The queen ROCKS though, but she has no power :(

I have a more profound opinion than my friend, Truthinite, but it is the same belief..  Basically, we were attacked.  I don't get how liberals expect to take that sitting down.  Not only was Saddam a potential suspect for the 9/11 attacks, but he also called for the killings of hundreds of thousands of Shiites.  Also, the media never focuses on the positives of the war.  You'll just hear, "2 soldiers were killed in Iraq today".  There are good things going on in Iraq too people.  People are able to vote, women are gaining rights, and overall, it's a safer place.  Also, we've captured Saddam, killed his sons, killed Musab Al Zarqawi, and we've captured the planner of the 9/11 attacks.  I agree we have every right, to quote George Bush, "To stay the course".  I don't see how liberals in Congress can call for a pullout when we are making serious progress in Iraq.  I'm not saying we can eliminate terrorism forever, because it is human nature to sin and create destruction.  But we can make efforts to supress it in places like North Korea and Iran.

And George Bush isn't as stupid as people make him out to be.  A lot of it is a smear campaign.  It was like ... who was the guy who couldn't spell potato?  There was a big stir up because he failed to spell a word correctly, and it ruined his political career, or something like that.  If I am correct, George Bush has dyslexia, or something like that, and therefore mispronounces words (i.e. "nuclear").  That doesn't make him stupid.

Gamefreak

Basically it's like this.

Liberals are allowed to run smear campaigns that demean Republicans at all costs.

But when Republicans make REAL insults against Democrats, then the Democrats go crazy and start playing their "cards". (you know what I mean).

When I had to be the head of the Labour party (our countries leading party) in our class election I looked into the War to find its good points. Women used to be stoned in the streets and as Gamefreak says people now have rights and freedom of choice. I think they should think about sending in more unarmed people who can help the people, start up schools, hospitals and show the Iraqi people we want to help them. This may help in gradually pulling troops out. My friend was terrified when her Dad was told he would have to go to Saddams palace, luckily he didnt in the end and families everywhere want their loved ones back.
The only thing I criticise is that there was no evidence at all that Iraq had WMD there was no proof. But it was for the best that troops were sent, nut now I think we should start seeing better results.

Gamefreak

Your point is valid but it's arguable at best.  Saddam did have the tools to make nuclear bombs.

Darth Wyndisis

The main difference between liberals and conservative is that conservatives have the opinions... liberals preach theirs.  I was over at a buddy's house, we were sitting around a fire in the back yard.  His drunk union worker neighbor came over and started preaching to us how he hates George Bush and the entire Republican party.  He told us to vote responsibly and not vote for Dick DeVos, Granholm's competition for governor in Michigan, and he went on, and on, and on.  Then he started talking crap about the military, and my friend is going to the Naval Academy.  I just got really ticked off and didn't talk.

alical

I didn't know that.
I still think they shouldn't have said that Iraq had the weapons, it worried a lot of people. It was misleading to people who would otherwise have been against the war. But, as I said though I am against war, especially that which is unnecesary and because of peoples greed (World war two etc.), I think something had to be done abot Saddam and his country who lived in fear of him and is torture. Like the time his troops shot a whole field of people, and how he hung someone by their thumbs and dipped them in boiling oil.

Gamefreak

My liberal enemies. >:(

Hillary Clinton
Bill Clinton
Jimmy Carter(bad president, good man)
John Kerry
Howard Dean
Ted Kennedy
Tom Daschle

The only good Democrat I know is Joe Lieberman.  He has consistently supported the war in Iraq.
