It must not be so long of a movie, because its not taking long to make.

Who is to say that the third movie wasn't being filmed during the filming of the second movie? Look at The Fellowship of the Ring; long movie, right? It's almost three hours long, right? Do you know how long it took to film it? It took fifteen months.

Therefore, you can't really judge how long a movie is by its debut date.

Maybe to you (time is relative, of course), but it's total length was 2 hours and 20 minutes, I think. How is that a short time? (Time is still relative, though.)
