Because he was displeased with the fact that I locked the religion debate thread because it was devolving into a gigantic flame war. He took it personally and left in disgust.

You should expand the ban list. I won't mention any names but certain users defy you regularly and merely receive a slap on the wrist. What does this say about you?

I'm not saying you're weak or lame or anything like that. I'm merely saying you made rules so you should make some effort to enforce them.

I have been recently cracking on those whom i'm sure we have a common understanding that you are referring to. My hope is that, given the chance, they can reform themselves and become normal productive members of this forum. Otherwise, yes, they will be banned if they cannot shape up. Most of these people are already on multiple warnings and thus their last chance.

My philosophy in this is that I'd rather give someone the chance to change their attitude than outright ban them and make them hostile to the site. it may seem black and white, but I have to balance the two extremes.

(And yes, Darkness_link, you are one of them. You are on two warnings: please stop doing inane one-word posts or you will not longer be welcome here).
