Anyway, back on topic. On Wikipedia, I read (with no disrespect to Koji Kondo) that Tingle bears a close resemblance to Koji Kondo.

i never though poorly of tingle, infact i was relieved to see him floating around in MM... but the WW tingle just...scared me... he overpriced his stuff and i dunno... i thought 3 tingles was pushing it

Tingle is really annoying .He won't get it in his head that a fairy will NEVER come to him .If you look at him really closley he is sort of an old man .

Tingle is a 35 year old virgin with no sign of growing up or intelligence ever since the age of two, and sometimes I'm ashamed to call him a Zelda character. >:( Wow, that was a mouthfull! :-*

MM's Tingle is okay. A bit weird (the guys'everywhere....is he stalking Link?), but okay

TWW's Tingle is plain evil. I don't care about the money. Most of the time, I was actually thinking: "Jeey, and then I can go to Tingle so it won't be a complete waste of my time to dig up treasures". Getting rupees in that game was way too easy. I'm happy Tingle charged that much.
However, we have three victims/witnesses to prove he's evil.
Knuckle - created "Tingle Tower", which was stolen from him by Tingle
Ankle - is being forced to satisfy Tingle's ego by helping rotating the head of Tingle Tower. Apparently, Tingle also is mean to him usual.
David Jr. - We don't know what happened at sea. Tingle might have saved David's life, he possibly hasn't. What we do know however is that he is kept against his will on the island and that Tingle forces him to do stupid manual labour.
