You can use Oni Link in the four boss battles and against Majora's Mask, but he is only useful against Odolwa and Majora's Mask. Goht can only be harmed by Goron Link, Gyrog  almost always Zora Link, and Twinmold is pretty much impossible without the Giant Mask.

Actually there is a freakishly easy way to beat Goht if you have a lot of arrows. Wait till he runs far enough to shoot lightning. Then as human link go to the snow piled on the sides of the corridor. You should be able to see Goht a little still and he will shoot lightning at you but it won't actually hit you. Shoot him from there till he croaks.

I prefer the Goron way, seems like a nice idea that a Goron would get defeat someone torturing Gorons.
