Sweet, we've got one of the best Zelda soundtracks ever on our homefront ^^ (and we've got'em all!). I discovered them a while ago and being a violinist, thought I'd found a temporary heaven.

The only thing that was bothering me was that I wasn't sure if it was legal or not... Do you (Jack) know anything about the copyright laws on this CD? Did you purchase a copy?

Oh, and how's your bandwidth liking the prospect of having mp3's on its platter? ;D

Hyrule Symphony is just about off the market. The only place I could find a copy is on Ebay, and thus I think its fair to say Nintendo stopped getting money for it years ago.

So far the bandwidth is not going crazy of anything. I have about 10 gigs left for the month, which should hold up fine. If it looks bad I'll purchase more (going to have to sooner or later anyway).

Anyways, glad you liked them. I figure out of anyone, you'd be a fan.  ;)

MP3 is a supported file type.  Those music files weren't compressed, were they?

Well SL, they worked fine for me (I downloaded a few that I haven't listened to in a while). Maybe you should try Winamp (a free MP3 player--what I use)?

And if worse comes to worst (is that how the saying goes? I always wondered if it was "wurst comes to worsed" or something), I have a bunch of them on my hard drive in .wma format (surely Windows Media Player can read Windows Media Audio files  ;)), and for the rest, I have a neato file converter. Those I can send to you in a nice little email (cheers for Gmail, and if you don't have a Gmail account or similar email account that can take a lot of space [like Yahoo] I can just send you a Gmail invite as well).

Come to think of it, I could just send you a link to a place to download the converter ^^. But Winamp (or another reputable mp3 program) is a better first resort. Much cleaner. Hope it works--and yes, they are worth the trouble (IMHO). ^^

That's not cool. Did you try using a different player to open it? Maybe download the next version of Windows Media Player?

Yeah, I discovered Hyrule Symphony years ago, being a violinist. Pretty awesome, I must say. Although some of their songs have a tendency of getting quite repetitive.

Hyrule Theme Arrangement: Wow, this is another good one. I remember finding this one somewhere, listed along with a bunch of the Hyrule Symphony MP3's. I heard that it's from the "Orchestral Game Concert" CD(s)? Very cool ^^. But speaking of MP3's for TDC... just wondering how you (Jack) go about acquiring these? Do you have a plan for building up a little... library for them?

My other comment... Hooray for IndieZelda! Was very glad to see IZ there as an affiliate, it being, as you say, a (nother) favorite Zelda site among Zelda sites. *stamp of approval*

I find the MP3s in my daily travels. If you have a Zelda MP3 which is really good and doesn't sound like a MIDI, please email it to me, and I'll put it up.

I figure I had to put up that Boston Pops one, because the Pops are from my hometown, and thus it demands satisfaction.

(Update discussion forum is a good idea, too. I'll put that on my drawing board)
