I still can't believe this is going on.  In theory, all of the Links are equally matched.  It all depends on the players.  If Player A is green and Player B is red, and if Player A is better than Player B, then the Link in Green is going to be better than the Link in Red.  But take the people controlling the Links out of the equation, and they are all evenly matched.  They're all the same Link; they just wear different colors so the players will know which Link they're controlling.
