I think there is a good percentage of people in the U.S. who don't belong behind the wheel of a car.

99.9% of the population of Virginia Beach, VA shouldn't be behind the wheel.  Myself included.

Why can't they make a default "auto-pilot" setting to decrease accidents?

It may be simple for humans to drive, but programming a computer to drive would be immensely complex.

However, they are coming up with new safety features.  Of course, they don't mean much if people are too stupid to use them.
