guys, can you tell my how to have you new characters? i want ganondorf, but i cant take him :P

Well, on most of them (or probably all of them), you can play a certain number of matches in VS Mode to fight him in order to obtain him.

However, the funnest way to do it would probably be the Event Matches. If you complete a certain Event Match (it's the one when you play as Link and have Zelda as your ally VS. Ganondorf, but I can't remember the name), you should unlock him.

Hmm... perhaps it isn't the right event match that you're playing, or is it that you haven't played enough VS matches (I think it's close to 1000)?

As for that, no you won't have to. Besides, you could try to take on easy characters or play one-on-one contests to shorten them.

I just remembered a glitch that I learned a while back. Now, pick any character, choose JUST a LV9 Ness as your opponent, and make sure that you and your opponent have only one stock each. Okay, now choose the Jungle Japes level. When the game starts, just stand there. Ness should try to attempt to attack you from jumping from his platform over to yours in order to impale you. However, when Ness uses PK Thunder, it should hit the edge of your platform, causing him to plummet into a tragic death in the river after about three seconds. Use this trick to get many of the matches that you need. Cool, huh? ;)
