I know they're psycho and everything, but if you ask me, they're doing this to be feared/respected.
And I don't think the UN would ever have an effect on Il at all.

Gamefreak

True, they'd just try to propose peaceful plans until the worst happens.  I'm going to make a few people angry with this, but sometimes, the only option is war.  It was the only option with Iraq, it was the only option against Hezbollah.  Sometimes, war is what works.

I do agree, and N. Korea should be invaded, it'll only cause more trouble. In fact, N. Korea is as famous for disrupting world peace from time to time as Switzerland is for being neutral.

Gamefreak

I guess we're between a rock and a hard place.

Mysterious F.

We should also invade Iran, and mabye we should send a few troops to defend Israel from its neighbors.

Gamefreak

And that brings up a good point.  We're a little stretched on the issue of troop supply.  We have troops stationed along the Mexican border.  Also troops in Iraq are the major part of it.

Mysterious F.

We could leave Iraq, and our allies are leaving us (England) and betraying us (Pakistan). Really, though, there are two things that made the region like this: little education, because the leaders realize people uneducated can be convinced to do what they say easier; and no religious freedom, another Muslim leader policy, believing they are the superior religion.

MasterKeyX

i agree: war is the only option, and it looks like it may be the only way for N.K.

No, Britain will remain faithful as long as Tony Blair is in charge.

All I can say is, invade and start a war with WHAT? We have no troops to spare. We can't bomb them, and risk thousands of civillian deaths. We can't rely on negotiations either so what to do?

If this is gonna be a war, it shouldn't be JUST the US going to war. In this case, we could invade all these countries. But the international community has to see all these countries as a current threat in order to declare war on them.  And unite in order to fight together, in the same fashion as WWII. I'm sorry to say it, but it looks like WWIII is coming really fast. Before we know it, everyone will be in this huge cataclymsic war and we woa't know what the hell to do.

If we go to war alone, then we automatically  lose. I'm saying that this is so big that we can't handle it on our own. The powers that be have become so tense and there has been so much disturbance, that it is really loooking bad now. It's not that war is THE answer, it's that it's sadly becoming one of our few remaining options.

I don't even know if this planet can stand another World War. I don't know if you and I or anyone else here will be able to see beyond into the days of peace. All I can say is that this is one very big a** emergency, and right now, we're pretty much freaking screwed. Because to them, the UN doesn't exist, what we need now is the international community to declare war on them. But I don't know if we'll ever be the same after this war.

MasterKeyX

you know, i saw a video about WWII today, and it brought tears to my eyes. Those great men died for our sakes. And i dont think the world can handle another World War. But if North Korea continues to pursue nuclear ambitions, it may happen faster than you think.

Yeah, but Tony Blair has already said he is resigning. He will be gone by this time next year. He is meant to leave around March I think, whenever it is its not far off.

Gamefreak

But the problem with uniting is, that most of the current world isn't exactly friendly with us.

Pale Dim

Well Kakashi Hatake, look in the White house, and you will see why.

Also, war is what the U.S. has been trying to avoid for a long time. My history teacher said that our men are put into war only if our country feels confident that it will be a victory. What Darkpuppet fears said is a pretty good point, but as far as we're concerned, nothing can be done about it. Only time can tell.

The reason most of the world doesnt like the U.S is because it's a world Superpower.
