Jack

I've updated my Timeline at the Compendium. What do you think of my placement of MC? Any objections to my theory? (I know Master Goron may).

Master Goron

Since the Triforce didn't make an appearance, it's safe to say that the king didn't have it... Therefore, it couldn't have sent him to Holodrum and Labrynna.

Also,
Quote033 Nayru- She's looking for a house in Hyrule to move into. She's descended from a line of oracles in the land of Labrynna.

035 Din- She's looking for a house in Hyrule to move into. She is a famous dancer from the land of Holodrum.

This leads me to believe the Oracles came before Minish Cap.

Other than the Oracles place, I like it. I'm not sure about MC, but oh well.

Jack

Damn, didn't see that in the figurines guide.

I'll have to toy with it, perhaps they were visiting Hyrule when this occured?

Master Goron

Perhaps, but I think it's unlikely.

But yeah, I can't wait to see how yours ends up, although, moving the Oracles in front of MC will probably work well in it's current position. But I don't know...

Jack

Well, I mean, think about it this way: at the beginning of Oracle of Seasons, Din is traveling in a caravan. Perhaps this is her returning from Hyrule?

Moreover, Link has a cap in the beginning of Oracles, but that particular Link does not receive his cap until end of MC.

And as for the Triforce, we don't see it in MC, but that doesn't mean it wasn't hidden away in the Castle, and Vaati was too stupid to find it?

I mean, this is surely all guessing, but alot of the Zelda series has holes you need to fill in. I think this is some pretty good spackle, if you get my meaning.

Read closely. It says that they are descendant from a line of oracles, NOT that they are descendant from the Oracles in OoS/OoA. IF the Capcom games are officially, I believe they are ancestors to those in OoS/OoA.

As for the placement of TMC, I don't see how it can be after OoT. And no, I don't refer to the absent of Ganon or the Triforce.

First of all, there's that legend about the Hero of Men. It's stated that about that time the Hylians (yes, I know they're called humans in the game, but I refuse to call them that) got their power. It's also that legend which is the reason why they celebrate the Picori Festival. If it had been after the Flood they would have forgotten the reason why they celebrate the festival. And because of FSA it can't be between OoT and the Flood.

And then there's the Light Force. I've always believed that if there's a fourth Triforce it must have disappeared before OoT.

I have little doubts the Light Force is the so-called Tetraforce. It's shaped like a triangle. It has unlimited magical powers. AND it can grant the wish of its holder. It's only one triangle, but has the same power as the whole Triforce. I believe it's more like a counter force, though, rather than an upside-down Triforce that's supposed to be in the middle.

u r completely and totaly wrong...
the picori festival is 2 celebrate the picori blade(or the white blade)being given 2 man and how a hero with courage and wisdom drove out evil(seems 2 be TP)and locked it away with the picori blade
o and the fourth triforce piece could have broken off when ganon touch it and remained in the dark/light world

Evilslayer

There's no reason to believe that TP is the TMC backstory. In fact, there's reasons to believe it ISN'T. First of all, the Hero of Men looks NOTHING like TP Link. And then there's the fact that the Master Sword IS in TP.

As I mentioned in another topic Link is wielding it in the picture with that yellow giant.

As for the Picori Festival, I did NOT deny that they celebrate it because of the Picori Blade. That's ONE of the reasons why they're celebrating it. I said 'the legend'. Isn't the Picori Blade a part of the legend?

Personally, I think that the Light Force was created by the Minish, since in the game, the introduction said that they gave men a "sword and a golden light." If that was the Triforce, how could they have gotten it in the first place?

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Evilslayer

It must have been a very powerful Minish sage, then. It could be a god from their world, though.

That's feasible, I suppose.

Or maybe the Picori world is the Golden Land? Actually, I think it IS the Golden Land. It has to be. Ever read the translated TMC manga? ;)

MagmarFire

No, I haven't. Do you know any link to it?

In the manga they mention the Sacred Realm several times. I think they even says that it's where the 'Force' is.

It may be debated whether or not the mangas are canon, but it must be remembered they are based on the Japanese version of the game.

The Light Force was the Triforce. Zelda had the Light Force. Vaati had tried to drain the force out of Zelda. So, he found it. After MC, they hid it in a special spot in the castle. After seeing how the Triforce can think for itself when no one owns it (it sent Link to Holodrum/Labrynna), they gave it back to Zelda. Oh, and can you find any more Zelda mangas?
