Darth Sauron

Which Zelda game do you identify with the most?
I'm not asking which is necessarily your favorite, but is there a Zelda game more personal to you than the  others?

While I still think Ocarania of Time is the easily the best Zelda, I'd say the more personal game for me would be Majora's Mask.  I love the dark tone of the game, the feeling of impending doom.  There's an epic/sad/tragic tone to the music but it's very beutiful.  Plus, I've always been very big on collecting masks, I love them.  A whole Zelda game about mask collecting was a dream come true.
Overall the game is very Halloweenish, thus fitting in nicely with my own tastes.

...or maybe this is just a weird question...I dunno.

jarod the dark mag

A link to the past, i don't why but it is always fun :D

Vampire

A link to the past, because it reminds me so much of my childhood!
Every time we went to my gramma's house, my brothers and I would race to the only exciting thing in the house...the Super Nintendo, and it's only game: Zelda.
Just holds a lot of precious memories, I guess.

Marin

I would say Links awakening, cause its the first one I beat on my own!

bgrugby

For me it is still the original. It was the third game I ever played (Mario Bros/Duck Hunt being the first) amd still my favorite. You never forget those games from when you are a little kid and the magic of Nintendo just came out.

Evilslayer

I agree with bgrugby. The original is simply the most magical Zelda game so far.

Pickles

I'm going to have to agree with Darth Sauron. Majora's Mask is just so tragic and scary, but at the same time fun and original. I don't know why, but it's just so... weird...

I'd have to say Link's Awakening. I was sitting in the airport with one of my best friends (we must have been 5 or 6 years old), and he had his gameboy and Links Awakening. At the time, I had never played Zelda before, so I had no idea what was going on. It was pretty sad, actually, because I was able to find the sword before my friend, who knew alot more than I did about the game, could.

It's also memorable because I never played it again until this summer when I went to San Fransisco. At the EBGames by Fisherman's Wharf, I managed to find a used copy of the game. It was just how I had remembered it!
The Fourth! A webcomic about the hopeless case of the game villain.

"Tis music that soothes the savage beast, but the dagger that causes long slumbers."
- Me!

DarkZelda

i agree with kamakaziplumber. my first zelda game was link's awakening, but the DX version. unfortunatly, i have lost my copy and have not been able to find tin. i never played zelda again till i got ALTTP for gameboy. then i was back in zelda heaven! if u know where i can get a copy of link's awakening, oracle of seasons, or oracle of ages, let me know.

MasterSword

I like Majoras Mask, when you can save the game, and Ocarina of time.

Nabooru

I think WW, I dont know why he just seems more normal...

greeny

its a tie between alltp and links awakening
ALLTP:
because this was a fun zelda game and i
remember me and one of my best freinds sat
down and played 4 swords together and just
pondered on how to beat the game
LINKS AWAKENING:
this was my 2nd zelda game i played
my first was when i was three so thats why im
in love with the zelda games, and i still play the
game to this day.

Avoid the one worders anju.

MasterKeyX

I vote majoras mask, it was the zelda game that got me interested in the series. And, quite frankly, it rocks as a game ;D
