But in WW, Tetra was able to get rid of her tan somehow when she turned into Princess Zelda, so she'd probably be able to do the same thing like she did as Shiek.

LadyNintendo

That's why I think OOT Zelda has been Sheik most of her life after fleeing.

Vaati

But how could she get rid of her muscles and red eyes?

Make-up usually makes your skin lighter.

Vaati

It must have been a lot of make-up because she was REALLY tan.

IronKnuckle

Shiek wasn't a real person. Shiek was a desquis made up by Zelda. By the way I think the shieka are a race becaus many websites catagorize them as one.

Vaati

And why did Zelda have to dress up as a male Shiekah? With the figure she has, it seem like it would be kind of hard to make herself look muscular.

Eralk Fang

Well, a random Sheikah female exactly the same age as the fugitive princess isn't really much of a disguise, now is it? It's rather suspicious, actually. Disguising herself as a male Sheikah distances her from that instant suspicion. As for the muscles, I think that's a combination of magic and living on the run for seven years. And Zelda's figure is not so womanly (like Telma) that it would be extremely hard to disguise herself as a male.

Hi no Seijin

What Ms. Fang said.

I think the Sheikah are a different race because they have a different type of magic than the Hylians.

And maybe, perhaps the second closest to the goddesses, (right next to the Oocca)

Eralk Fang

Interesting, but the Hylians are supposedly the chosen race of the goddesses, and the Sheikah their shadows. That makes them sound a little less favored by the goddesses then the Hylians.

I think that mabey the Shiekah were once the Hylians. Mabey they did something bad and they were turned from Hylians to Sheikah. That would explain why the Shiakah look similar to Hylians. Or mabey the were changed from Hylian to Shiekah by some other way.

DW

The Sheikah are definitely their own race. They have a distinct appearance, and they have their own symbol. Not to mention they die out, which if anybody could become a Sheikah would be very hard.

Yeah, because wasn't Impa the "last of the Shiekah?"

Evilslayer

No. She's just the only Sheikah in the game. It doesn't even mention they are near extinction. TP makes me believe that in OoT there are still many Sheikahs alive (enough to build a new village).

The only 'distinct' appearance the Sheikah have is their eyes. And that doesn't say much. I don't believe neither the Hylia or the Sheikah are different races. I believe they, and the Kokiri, have common ancesters.
