Ahhh.
Remember the good old days when disney cartoon were so much fun .
My fav disney movie has the hunchback of notre dame. But now adays  almost all disney movies and shows suck. They cram them with half hearted sterotypes.

Why is it that the step parents are always evil demons from hell? And the girl in the movie is usually portrayed as the annoying, ditzy boy crazy shopoholic.

Just like every other market company out there Disney pleases the crowd, even if they have to crush a few souls on the way...

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Hi no Seijin

A lot of things are becoming nothing but businesses these days.  It seems that Disney no longer cares about entertainment.  Today's world is a money driven one.

I agree, I can't watch it without throwing up ???

what ever happened to the good old days of Tim Burton's masterpiece a nightmare before christmas i mean come on!

Adding to Dr. Rabies' thought, i agree. Disney hasnt made a true classic in years. Movies like the Lion King aren't made anymore. Seriosuly, when was the last time you saw a recent Disney film on par with the Lion King?

I'm not a Disneyfan. I dislike the company VERY much, even though I love some of their stuff. Ofcourse I like The Lion King and Who Framed Roger Rabbit and I just adore a lot of their series (Darkwing Duck, Gummy Bears). I dislike them for their position in today's entertainment industry. How come people "love" Silly Symphonies when it's racist (Pokemon's Jynx did not survive it), sexist and just downright unfair? What kind of stupidity and arrogance does one have to possess to claim nobody wants 2d anymore and that 3d is what nowadays cartoons should be?  And if they got the rights to distribute Ghibli's master pieces, I expect them to have a certain respect for it. But apparently, Disney is allergic to silence. Because chances are 90% that when a Ghibli movie has a no-speaking moment (meant to let you enjoy the beautiful visuals), Disney throws in a sentence in the dub. It's very funny to choose the original Japanese language with the English subs; it just doesn't match.

Noone who's named Disney has something to do anymore with the company. The company has lost its soul a long time ago, allthough I can't say when exactly.

I don't really watch the Disney Channel, so a part of my opinion is neutral in this case.

As for the movies, I agree that Disney has indeed put out way too many sequels than it needs to. I mean, it's not like they can't use their ideas for sequels and recreate them into a totally new story or something. They would probably get more money that way if that's what they're worried about.

It should be noted that Brother Bear (which in retrospect, I didn't think it was really a bad movie) was considered a failure by Disney, but what do they do? They come up with a sequel for it, and if the Rule of Sequels applys here, it wouldn't fare as well as the original. Not a smart move, is it?

Still, I do think that Disney has come out with very good movies quite recently, such as the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. I think that franchise is an important asset to the company.

I think, though, that one of the few things that can come out of the numerous sequels that Disney comes out with is more worlds in the Kingdom Hearts series. :D

The only  decent animated new disney movie I can think of is" cars."
In my opinion disneys Non-animated movies generally tend to be better.

I   dislike most of their new cartoons for kids.
Watching most new cartoon makes me wanna hurl.

MasterKeyX

their new cartoons are so terrible, i wanna lay down and die sometimes.

I think the "good ol days" were the days that Walter Disney was alive and kicking. I think he truly cared about entertainment. After he died, it seemed to go downhill. :( May he rest in peace...

I heard they have his body frozen somewhere so that they can return him to life someday. Dont quote me on that. I think it's creepy and wrong to mess with the dead.

Do you mean, "not quote and just drop it"? If so, I guess that's fine.

Hopefully Square Enix will put those sequels to good use someday. I would really love that. :D
