We went to the Vet. today to give my Dog a look at how she's doing, and the vet says she might have a form of cancer. And if it is cancer (it's Limpfoma, which is very fatal in it's final stage) we have to put her down. Can you guys help me calm down, you've always helped me feel better.

the only two beings i loved that died were my grandpa(cancer) and a girl i loved(suicide) so i can't cope with the loss of a pet, sorry

Aw you poor thing, I lost a dog when I was little when he had a stroke. And my hamster died of a form of cancer.
Just hope for the best I think, but be prepared for the fact that she might not survive. Remember it's fine to cry and don't keep your emotions bottled up.
We will all help you get through it as best we can, so try to keep positive until you hear the final verdict.

It's perfectly okay to cry, let it all out.
I feel you pain. But there is  a chance your pet will survive.

All I can say is... if you sleep for a day after it happens, it can help you remember some things... happy things... I somehow still see one of my dead cats in one of my dreams. And when I do, it's like she's still alive somehow... :( :( :( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Thats really sad. Here's a sad story about a close friend having to be put down:

A long time ago, my cousins Jon, CJ and I went to the old school near his house. We were skating around down there, when CJ called to us "Hey dude, theres a kitty tangled in the rose bush!" Jon and i ran over, and found it. It was on the other side of a fence which was right over a busy road. And you know me, the dare devil :P

So i find my self untangling a kitty, while hanging onto a fence over a busy road. I dont know how i get myself into those types of situations. I held the kitty, and it had it's claws deep in my chest. I hopped over the fence, and my cousins held it for a while. We took it back to the house. It looked starved, and it was more than affectionate after we fed it.

We finally asked Jon's mom if we could keep it. She said no, but then there is us. We dont take no for an answer. Especially with those big kitty eyes. It ended up being Jon's cat. He kept it for a week, which he named: Mr. Kitty. lol! well, his mom fell in love with the kitty, as did CJ and i. He kept the cat for a good two years. It was an outdoor cat, but he always came home. Everytime i visited, kitty would greet me.

One time. He didnt come home. He left for three days, and came back half starved, and with a nasty limp. We took care of him, and about a week later, he was breating funny. His heart rate had quickened, and he wasnt looking to good. We called every vet in the area that night, and finally a certain vet clinic agreed to give a free examination. We took him to the vet early the next morning.

When we arrived, there wasnt much of a line, so we got in quickly. The nurse examined him, and looked him over. She took a temperature, and listened to his heart. Kitty had never seemed so scared. Kitty wasnt scared of anything. Not dogs, not vacumes, not anything but an empty food bowl. But he was shaking, and he kept looking at me and jon.

The doctor finally came in, and examined him more. After a little bit, he explained that Mr. Kitty had most likely been hit by a car, and that was to explain for the limp. however, the real prblem was a hernia growing in his chest. It was a struggle for kitty to breath, and it was pushing his organs up into his chest. The price to fix it was over $1000 and we simply could raise enough money. Jon's mom agreed to put kitty to sleep.

It was possibly my gloomiest day in Texas. Jon cried, but I kept my emotions in, until i couldnt no longer. Yes, I cried. It doesent make me any less of a person, and i'm not afraid to admit it. Kitty looked as if he knew his time was up. Kitty actually cried with us. We hugged him a final time before the doctor took him out back. I hated myself for being so useless.

Most of us have been through something like this, and i hope your story ends up different than mine. I'll definately pray for you and your dog tonight. God can help things, and you'd better believe it. Im sure your dog will be okay, as long as we all throw a prayer into the prayer pool tonight. Good luck with your dog howl.

Man, poor cat... That was quite a story, ZV. How painful that must've been.

And hopefully your dog doesn't have cancer, Howl. May God be with your dog while this event takes its course.

Yeah. Its weird. We saved his live, and then watched it fade. We loved him alright, but unlike movies, Life doesent always have a happy ending. All you can do is be all you can be, and pray pray pray.

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

I think I lost my faith in God, he did'nt give animals, including me, souls, so we won't go to heaven, but what will happen

Never lose your faith in god. Animals do too have souls. Dont ever doubt god again. Your dog could ride in the balance. Please, never lose faith. 8)
