Can someone give me their redition of the Timeline? (Please don't give me the same timeline as the one on TDC, I'm looking for a new one that gives a twist to it )

Evilslayer

Want a different one?

Well the best one I have seen so far is the one I saw on GT's website. Obviously I believe in the split timeline especially after Aonuma even said OoT had 2 endings in 2 different time periods, and WW took place 100 years after the ending with Adult Link disappering.

1st: MC, 2nd: OoT

Then the timeline splits based on the two endings from OoT, one with young Link and Zelda warning the King of Ganon. One with Ganon sealed away, adult Zelda and adult Link gone. Here is the timeline from the ending when Link and Zelda are sent back as kids:

3rd: MM, 4th: LA, 5th: LoZ, 6th: AoL, 7th: FS, 8th: LttP

Now the timeline in which after OoT Ganon was sealed and Adult Zelda remained but no Link:

3rd: WW, 4th: PH

Two games are left and that are the Oracle games and they are both the last in each timeline as they take place at the same time but in different timelines, don't know where each one goes though (probably doesn't matter). So......

MC
OoT
MM
LA
WW
LoZ
PH
AoL
OoA/OoS
FS

LttP

OoA/OoS

Now there is TP, and I have no idea where to place that. At first I thought it would be in between OoT and WW but thinking about it looks more like it belongs on the other timeline because in TP:

TP SPOILERS COMING UP...

In TP where we see Ganondorf's being executed by the sages, that is what could have been Ganondorf's fate after the ending of OoT where you have a young Link and Zelda warning the king of him. I will have to play through it some more to determine where it belongs or even if this timeline holds up. What I do believe for sure though is there is a split timeline in Hyrule.

actually:
Link 1:OOT & MM grandpa of TP
Link 2:TP grandpa of LOZ
Link3:ALTTP & LA Long-lost cousin of TP
Link 4:LOZ father of AOL
Link 5:AOL  great-great grandpa of Link 6
Link6:Oos & Ooa great-great uncle of seventh
Link7:TWW,PH, & TMC father of FS
Link8:FS father of FSA
Link9:FSA has a child and the child has a child
and that child dies alone

Quick question, are you saying the Link in the original LoZ was the father of the Link in AoL? You might want to change that since even the game manual said that Zelda II took place a few seasons after LoZ, and the Link in Zelda II is 16 years old. Also the reason they are trying to kill Link in AoL is they need his blood to resurrect Gannon since he killed him in LoZ.

i wrote it in a hurry,in my eb site ill give you the
one without the mistake.

Evilslayer

And that timeline there's only one Link before TP, and he's, also according to the timeline, the grandfather of TP Link. However, the guy who teach you the Hidden Skills in TP is a previous Link and he's referred to as an ancient hero.

If someone/something is really ancient it can't be less than 1,000 years old. And I don't care what the guide say. If the game argue with the guide there's not much the guide can do about it, even if it's an official guide.

Just cause he is an ancient hero does not mean it is Link. There could have been other heroes in Hyrule besides a decendant of Link. Look at the beginning of Minish Cap, it talks about a hero of man (not the hero of time) that the Minish gave the sword too. Is it Link? Most likely not, as the game shows the hero doesn't wear a green hat and was most likely King Gustave. This is why many consider MC the first game in the series because that is how Link got his famous green hat. I think the ghost that teaches you could be Gustave or someone else. One of my ideas is it is a cursed soldier (like the cursed solider's grave you have to find in Hyrule Castle) who is trying to redeem themself, break a curse, get revenge, etc.

Evilslayer

King Gustaf is just a normal King between the Hero of Men (who I believe is a Link) and TMC. The guy who teach you the Hidden Skill talks of green tunics, and directly states that they are of the same bloodline. I also don't think it's a coincidence that Nintendo made him left-handed. :-*

Well after playing through it again, it never said they were the same bloodline, and just cause he uses the same hand as Link (right in the Wii version) is more about making it look better because it would look more awkward if the two used different hands. Last time I checked too, I never saw Link were the helmet that the spirit wears either. Could it be a decendant of Link, possibly, but I highly doubt it is a Link from the past...otherwise I guess we finally have a Link that talks (besides the possible occurances in AoL and TLLP).

Mysterious F.

I don't have one, but I at least know these basics:

OOT/MM - TP - TWW/PH

LTTP is left as unknown because TWW messed up the old timeline. LA uses the same Link (as shown when, in the final battle, Final Shadow turns into Agnahim, then Ganon. Moldorm also uses the same tactics as last time)

The Four Sword Series and the Oracles will be excluded, but I'm pretty sure the Oracles are around the time of MC. FS is before FSA, so this is what I came up with there:

MC/Oracles - FS - FSA

Also, Miyamoto has stated there is a master timeline that he and the other game designers have made and always update with new games.

Master Dragmire

whoa! holy shit! I posted this like along time ago!
I cant beleive its still on the first page....  ;D
