Regular link or Wolf Link?

At first I thought the wolf Link was really stupid and not that much fun other than the cool Midna jumping thing. I was a little more into it when you had to find Ilia though because you could run through the Castle town and such.

Wolf Link. He's adorable, especially when he does his little dance when he finishes howling xD And carrying bones.

On the otherhand, he's completely AWESOME when it comes to portal fights and ripping the souls of poes out.

I quite like the dark energy field. It kills things. Fast.

... Also, I like to morph into a Wolf by Jovani's house, then run out into the square wiggling the Wiimote, which makes me like.. attack people while they scream. It amuses me. owo;

Regular Link. I do agree that Wolf Link has advantages over regular Link (and Wolf Link is cool and all), but I generally prefer regular Link's control map.

I mean, let's face it: the only things that Wolf Link has advantages over regular Link are the ability to warp, the ability to jump to higher places that human Link can't reach, X Senses, Dig, more speed, and attacking multiple (usually ground units) enemies at once. Other than that, he's not great as a playable character. He has no finishing moves whatsoever, so you have to wait for a fallen enemy to get up before you can finish it off; and the damage Wolf Link takes from attacks from an enemy is double the damage that regular Link takes from the same enemy. Plus, Wolf Link has no ranged attacks, so if he gets fired upon by otherwise-unreachable enemies, you have to change back into a human to get them.

To make a long story short, I think regular Link is better. Don't get me wrong, though. I like the twilight levels a lot.

Now, if you are going to chastise me for my opinion, please do so gently.

I guess I have to go with Hylian. If only Wolf Link had gotten progressivly stronger as Link got new items. Because when I'm in a dungeon, because all the enemies get stronger and I don't get stronger, I feel naked as a Wolf, and in fact I am.

Hylian Link. I love using a sword. I do like Wolf Link, though. I love his talking-to-animals thing(I wanted to pet that rooster in Ordon. XD) and the sense thing.

Same here, but I still play more as Hylian Link, at least in dungeons.

I like wolf Link, but I usually play as Hylian Link.  I'm just more used to the controls and he can do so much more as a human.  Being a wolf is fun (and great for scaring people), but I'm a wolf for a mass of one-hit enemies.  Also the chain on his foot got annoying really quick (cool that they kept it on but still...).

and I also don't understand why that attack Neji uses is called eight trigrams...I fail to see how eight or three comes into play in it...though that's off topic...

Trigrams go like this... Each 'level' of a trigram has two things that it can be, either two blocks or a single larger block. There are three levels to a trigram, meaning that it goes to 2 x 2 x 2 or 2³ = 8.

Wolf link has proven slightly better as sometimes I have trouble seeing certain details that are close by, so I use sense to make things more visible. The graphics in this game are a bit much to my eyes, makes somethings hard to distinguish.

Hylian Link is a lot better. Wolf Link is amazing and cute and all, but just not fun to fight with. Link's sword is fun to use and not nearly as jerky. Link's recovery time after an attack is also a LOT better. Sometimes I will attack with Wolf Link and feel really exposed.

I prefer Hylian Link because of his sword on the wii.  It is so fun to control and slay the enemies to pieces.

I prefer Hylian link because he has all the items and I can't ride epona and shoot bomb arrows at monsters as wolf link right? Wolf link is quite awesome but regular link is just plain better
